No idea. My certificate was not legalized by embassy. just the PCC
As to how long Ministry of Education (MoE) will take to authenticate your certificate, it depends on how long your school registrar takes to confirm to MoE by email

Yes. Before appearing at VFS not embassy. You can use Google. Type Portuguese to English Translate. Highlight, copy and paste in Portuguese section for Google to translate to English for u. Use the date of your VFS appointment for any dates on form

It takes minimum of 6weeks for verification and Legalization of our certificate at the Portugal embassy
Once your documents is submitted the count down start , although some cases exceed 6 weeks. However after your documents have been verified, embassy will contact u to come and Legalize that day after paying for the Legalization fee which is 20$ per documents(which is about 35000 currently as of the on I did earlier this week)
However verification of Bsc& transcript is free, why u will have to pay Verification fee for other documents.

If you are going for masters
It is your Bsc, transcript and o level. For study you can includes you kids birth certificate and marriage certificate if you want to move with your family.
Verification of Bsc & Transcript at the embassy is free, but 250k for Hnd&ND holders, marriage certificate and those going for Bsc and the process of verification lasts for weeks
After you be contacted to come and legalize.

There is visa appointment now... i have been trying since morning, i was unable to pick anydate. I did with several browsers but still same....I prayed, slept a bit and tied it again when i woke up and i got a date... God did it. There were still lots of dates available in May after i got mine. VFS is different from Embassy. VFS is just an agent to filter applicants, coordinate and arrange applications to reduce crowd at embassies where they do not want to deal with applicants directly. VFS has no say on decision. they are errand boys to the embassies

Please how long did it take for the Portuguese embassy to reach out to you after the visa interview?
I'm hearing it takes a minimum of six weeks after the visa interview for you to know your fate.
Can you confirm please.

Is there anything like interview at the VFS? I heard you'll just submit your documents, make payments and that's it...

Can PCC (Police Character Certificate) be authenticated in Lagos? (Applicant resides in Lagos)

Are applicants required to legalize PCC (Police Character Certificate) at the Portuguese Embassy, and can they do it from Lagos?
