Israel, known officially as the State of Israel, occupies a significant position in the Southern Levant region of West Asia. Hebrew stands as the official language of Israel. Governed as a unitary parliamentary republic, the nation's current President is Isaac Herzog, with Benjamin Netanyahu serving as Prime Minister.

As of the 2024 estimate, Israel's population stands at approximately 9,890,720.
