In fact, my biggest secret is actually using proven templates, swipe files and scripts to produce copy that sells every time I need one.

And I always advise that you should start collecting proven copy templates, swipe files, etc – by proven, I mean those that have actually made money.

If you hear that a particular sales letter or ad generated millions of dollars, download or copy it, and keep it safe in your marketing arsenal.

This way, you can study it, break it down, learn from it and also model it whenever you want to create your own ads or sales letters.

That’s the secret.

That’s how it works.

People however ask me how they can go about getting/building their own copy collection.

Is this something you desire and need help with too?

Well, the truth is: this is not something you do overnight.

It takes time to build a solid collection.

Whenever you come across an ad or a sales letter or video, and you find it so compelling that you’re in fact itching to buy from it, then keep it.

It gets better if you do some research and find that it actually pulled a lot of sales.

That’s how you build your library of highly-converting sales letters.

You can then “templatize” them.

That is, carefully study them, break them down and turn them into templates by bringing out their major elements.

You remove their specific words, branding, story, offer, etc. and keep the persuasive elements, so that you can replace their own stuff with yours when it’s time to write.

For example, if a headline says:

How to Score Great Penalties, Even If You’ve Never Kicked a Ball in Your Life
You can turn it into a template that says:

How to [Desire], Even If [Disadvantage].
So if you teach cooking, you can use this template to create a headline that says:
How to Cook Great Meals Your Family Will Love, Even If You’ve Never Boiled an Egg Before.

The penalties headline is called a swipe file – because we swiped it to create ours.
Removing their own unique properties and retaining their persuasive structure gave us a template we can now use at any time to sell anything.

This is my secret to copywriting success, and in essence, business success.

On a serious note, the Nigerian army can do better than this since it's not a case of rape but rather mutual consent between two adults. He should have been demoted and imprisoned for some months before letting off the hook.

A serving soldier or police needs to be dismissed before imprisonment, there's an immunity(sort of) attached to that uniform.

That's why you see them being dismissed or suspended before a criminal trial in the court.

No the colleague has no business taking laws into his hands, as long as it's not rape the man should handle his family case without meddling of the Nigerian army as an institution. So after the army where do we stop? The police, civil defence, prison warders, airforce, bankers, civil servants and all multinationals employees will also get a penal code and office rule that any colleague that sleeps with the other colleagues wife should be expelled or is it only military wives that are no-go area.
