[quote author=iLegendd post=129788198] Ordinary $5 you dey bring ETH address. The ETH fee alone is more than $5.

I asked for USDT BEP20 or UID of your exchange. Don't worry, I'll choose someone else. You're not into crypto. [/quot

from the write up, government may consider strict regulations on crypto trading which of. course there target is to tax crypto transactions through banks. I think that will be the best for the government and not to bann crypto trading
If their target is taxation like you mentioned, they won't be getting shishi from me. I would rather relocate and pay my taxes to the government of another country that is deserving of it.
Say I'm not patriotic, well, I don't care. Currently, I fuel my gen, sink borehole, pay for local security, pay health bills running into hundreds of thousands, contribute to buy transformer for my community, etc. I'm also into crypto full-time because the Nigerian government refuses to create jobs nor create enabling environment for companies that will employ me. These amenities and benefits are what the citizens of other countries get for paying their taxes but this is not the case with Nigeria. Nigerian government will prefer to use the taxes of its citizens for subsidising useless things like religious pilgrimage. Also, I won't trust my taxes to a government that will release a corrupt governor that embezzled its citizens taxes (Jolly Nyame) or allow corrupt government officials to live off my sweat (another case in point is that Buhari's accountant General that was reported to have stole billions but that was never invited or prosecuted to date. Another one is Yahaya Bello).

Nigerians are too loud.. we not the first country in the world to do crypto. Buy your USDT trade your crypto, make profit rinse and repeat. Leave monetary policy and anything sentimental against the Naira for CBN to handle .

That's exactly what Nigerians were doing before APC went & knock them for head. I remember during our initial foray into Binance. we never even gave a shyt about P2P. we just use our bank card & directly purchased crypto that we was interested in. we remember even USDT, BUSD can easily be gotten this way.

I can't really say since things are unpredictable right now. All I know is, I'm currently longing, while wishing for a crash. Whichever direction it goes, I'm cool.

It's better to be in crypto than out of it and it's cool to have extra USDT for emergency.

Nigerians are really loud and sometimes I don't blame the government for the things happening to us online (International)

Alot of people are doing street and juju back them and even hookup but u won't know but now Nigerians ain't hiding shit again, just imagine seeing alot of young boys doing juju and posting it online to gain followers or whatever and you expect the police not to think dat all boys in the country are doing it? you will see boys asking me which format I dy use as if, me dy do street

Now: everyone is saying don't keep Ur money in the bank, just buy USDT and hold cus Naira is useless and you will see alot of post like this in the internet and you expect clueless CBN govt not to go against cryptocurrency?

Few days I posted Amazon blacklisting alot of account, guess which country? 90% are Nigeria acct using Nigeria IP address because Nigerian are too loud and many users are releasing alot of useless books in Amazon

Most times na Nigerian dy cause the issues we dy face this days not the useless government.

So if Nigerians hold USDT rather than naira does it stops the authority from putting on their thinking cap so as to come out with a brilliant idea
Do your leaders and people in position think or they just want quick fix solutions?
No matter the problem as long as it is man made their are solutions

Your brain must really be that of goat's own to think your government is here on nairaland going ftom one thread to other.

Nairaland crypto thread session is the smallest of all engaging crypto platforms i have come across.

What are we discussing here? Even before the government wahala, no serious implicating conversations here.

Go to twitter, reddit, discord and all and see large crypto communities with big bags discussing not here that you are using $5 to trade..lol

Very small, yet effective. Raising traders, and investors alike. There was one other one who said, Nairaland is small, come to twitter.
Please, can some of us mention 3 handles on “X, REDDIT, DISCORD, that takes the time to tutor or answer questions and break things down like we do here without asking you join some paid group.
Even ones that don’t run paid group won’t respond. They’d buy bottom and start shilling top for followers to buy.

There are a lot of us doing the people good, give us the appropriate credit we deserve. We could have gone on X to run some paid groups or even direct followers here to X to follow us there for some paid groups, but for the sake of brotherhood, and humanity, we chose to stay here.

Give credit, don’t insult us.

You know the saying empty barrels make the loudest noise. Many of those who were shouting don't even know what a token is. Many don't do crypto or even have dom accounts or ever held a dollar in their lives . They just regurgitate the news louder that active users.

Very annoying.

You started comparisons, talking down on this thread. Let me tell you, I learnt about 50% of my trading here, the rest on YouTube, 0% on the so called big forum X, Reddit, discord.
People are putting a lot of time to teach here and please give them credit. No one is bragging or expecting thanks so carry your stupid mentality and leave here let us trade with our $5 in peace. Typical of the average Nigerian, they look down on their own product

Firstly in this part of the world, govt is concerned about anything that will not favour them, not what will make the country to lose. A lot of things are making the country to lose, why are they not addressing it? Security, unemployment, unstable electricity etc are making the country to lose, because companies are leaving in droves due to high cost of production, why didn't they address this? Secondly u can't be be comparing Japanese to us, that's one of the best country in the world. haba bro!

These guys trust their leaders to a very large extent to know that their leaders mean well for them, so the citizens don't question everything their leader does. Do u know naira started falling immediately bloomberg posted a report on foreign reserve depleting? People can't see what is bad & keep shut. So long as the leaders concern for the citizens is not genuine, people will continue to talk. It is just same way a wife & kids checkmate an irresponsible father. But a father that genuinely cares for his family will never be questioned by his wife & kids.

HUGE CREDIT TO YOU ALL

Nairaland is one of best to easily get good information on whatever, if you find yourself in the rightful thread, the reason we newbie are not getting enough info here is because of all these angel of dooms and government agents here, those with valid info are just codedly dropping and withheld some for security sake. When I joined this thread I thought I'll get more than enough, then I notice questions from newbies are mostly ignored, I blamed no one, I came around January when binance issue dey ground, who no go like to protect themselves, then I resolve to read only mood, I made mistakes,I learn, and still learning here, and I can categorically tell you, I mostly know nothing about crypto, but coming here everyday to read posts from ogas here, gives me positive hope to believe there is light at the tunnel. THANK YOU ALL.
