I have spent most of my years in South Africa.nobody Dey watch dstv.abroad na Netflix and show max.

It is good to compare Apples to Apples and not Apples to Oranges. 1. There are channels in SA bouquet we don't have in Nigeria. 2. The pay system is comes with pay as you go, which means you exhaust your subscription as you watch and not time bound as in our case. 3. The Market is far greater in the Nigeria than in SA, so market economics should prevail. 4. You may want to talk about infrastructure in both countries to support operation. To shock you, the tax regime in SA is far higher than what they pay here and that cushions the infrastructure deficit. 5. Their services in Nigeria is very poor, you will know when you need to get them to rectify or address a complaint. Dstv have no business increasing rates now because they just did not long ago and the rate increase is worrisome. Lastly, it is a private business though, we all have the option of not subscribing to the service and look for alternatives if they refuse. After all, nobody force anybody!!!!!

I had almost all material when i re-installed, however budget 50k.

my decoder is 32k but there are even cheaper ones for 20k, viewsat decoder & co.

Wire and who go install can take up to 15k tthat'sall up to you.

I'm not interested in this theory. My take is that DStv should be pay as you watch. I should be able to buy the number of hours that I want. The present situation where you recharge and you travel unexpectedly, only to come back to be disconnected and ask to subscribe again.
