Oluchi Israel is a 19 year old University of Calabar student whose aim of joining the competition is to increase her vocal abilities, take on higher notes and ultimately be a music star.

She does not see Academy romance as a possibility because of her undying commitment to Emeka her boyfriend whom she holds very dear. Oluchi is of Igbo descent and apart from her amazing flair for music; she also has a knack for computer hardware hence her choice for Computer Science as a course of study.

Leonard - To vote, send 11 to 1745 (Ghana) and 306(Nigeria, Liberia, Sierra Leone)

Leonard Massaquoi has a son, named Majesty whom he adores. Leo speaks fluent English having started his education at the Services Children School, Wilberforce, Sierra Leone under the enduring tutelage of Mr. Kamghou. His love for basket ball can’t be over emphasized as this serves as extra mural activity for him. He plays basketball for his team ‘Bellair Eagles’ as a point and shooting guard.

Favourite hang-outs for him includes Edet, Agal, Oldskul and Aces night club. Singing, watching movies, getting on social networks and of course playing basket ball makes his leisure.

This calm and collected dude is the only child of his parents and was brought up under the loving hands of his grandma. He has a girlfriend he plans to stay committed to; so Academy romance for him is a ‘no-no’.

Like many Ghanaians he loves reggae, plans to learn as much as he can in the Academy and enjoy the stay
