One thing that is very evident is that since May 29 2023 Tinubu was sworn-in, nobody don rest in this country be it OBIdient, ATIKUlated or BATist.

I remember the day he made pronouncement about subsidy removal, na so I carry car go one filling station to another looking for fuel to buy only to meet dozens of people doing the same. Presently people are still in filling station buying fuel for around N1k per liter almost one year after. Like people wake as early as 3am to join fuel queue whether they are BATists or OBIdient.

Prices of products have not come down, naira-dollar fluctuation is giving manufacturers and salesmen sleepless nights ; even the palliatives which was eagerly awaited by the people have not cushioned any effect of the hardship in the land.

People abroad may not really understand these things/directly feel the effect, but anybody living in this country definitely feels it.

I really feel for business people o because they always get blamed for increasing prices of their products, while the society overlooks how the customs duty for clearing their goods keeps fluctuating with the exchange rate.

I look forward to reading what Bayo Onanuga & Ajuri will list as top Tinubu's achievement that is verifiable and can be felt by Nigerians in general in the past one year.
Bro it is only Oasis and Dayo, that is blindly supporting Tinubu's policies cos they don't live here, how many APC or Tinubu supporters living in Nigeria you know or see still openly supporting him or his policies?

When is the defend tinubu group coming to flood your with meaningless conversations and try to steer the conversation into stupid things with one of them throwing shades at Obi to see if we will bite and focus on that argument? Then you'll see the other one drop a smiley and say to his tribalistic egbon "it's the message they got from their group".

Just chilling for the script 😁

Like I said.

Especially the Obi part😁

There was nothing Reno posted that I didnt know about Obi way before on this same NL and shocking thing was that it was all posted by people living in the same Anambra when he was governor

About Obi religious bigotry pitting Catholics vs Anglican when he finished Christian vs Moslem

FreeGlobe:
A cross-session of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) yesterday staged a protest at the
Government House and Dr. Alex Ekwueme Square, Awka, protesting the alleged change of list for the chairmanship election scheduled for January 11, 2014.
The placard-carrying protesters were mostly from Orumba South, Orumba North, Ihiala, Njikoka, Awka North, Anaocha, Dunukofia and Onitsha South local government areas.
The protesters alleged that all the names of members of the Anglican communion who won in party primaries were removed and replaced with names of the candidates of the Catholic church.
The protesting APGA members accused former deputy governor of the state, Dr. Okey Udeh, the party’s woman leader,
Edith Nwokedi and some other top party leaders of allegedly masterminding the plot.
Speaking to newsmen at the Ekwueme Square, Chairman of the party in Orumba South, Mr. Thomas Okoli and his people warned that if the lists were not returned the way they were, the local government election would not hold.

This is a thread from back in 2011 on Obis performance as governor

https://www.nairaland.com/708958/anambra-state-governor-obis-administration

I can pick some posts from the thread and see how it was mostly curses on Obi for being a failure.

Only the assessment of Yahaya Bello can be this bad

chuuuglothen:
Adaobi is a colossal failure. To say dt he is d biggest mistake dt Anambrarians made will b an understatement. Everything is at halt. Health workers r on strike. Teachers are planning 2 follow suit due 2 excessive deductions from their salary. Dora Akunyili lost d election cos d masses saw it as a punishment 4 obi. He hijacked a major road @ onitsha 4 d past 3yrs 2 build an unexplainable project. Dis has caused a major suffering 4 d motorists due 2 d huge traffic jam dt is always met there. He gave bogus computers 2 schools. Closed down a school and a market 4 24hrs cos dey jeered @ him. Infact d list goes on,

Afaaam4eva:
I keep getting contradictory information regarding the performance of Peter Obi. I don't know which one to believe. All I can say is if Onitsha is yardstick for rating he's government then he has failed woefully because Onitsha has remained an eye sore that has refused to heal. Though I don't know much about other parts of Anambra. Thanks God he'll be leaving in 2 years timr(I think). So that we can try someone else. That's if Nigeria still exists by then.

senbooonzakurakageyoshi:
ha, peter obi. one just has to take a look at onitshsa, the gateway to the southeast from the southwest to know how monumentally Mr Obi has failed. I passed through Onitsha not too long ago and was appaled by the level of disorder and apparent absence of government presence there. It was so appalling i had to take pictures, to document the anomaly. Being one of the first to run to Abuja to congratulate GEJ too, something governors of opposition parties all shunned. Serious governors like Fashola and Chime spend less time talking and more aorking. Peter Obi just hogs the press, puts up these huge billboards of minor achievements all over onitsha. Infact, commenting on the man's achievements is an excercise in futlility.here else seemed joined together paper gum; a city falling apart. Is it just that?

viceeenzo:
Peter obi is a disgrace,he is not good for anything, all those court cases he won, didn't come cheap, somehow he has to recover those money to our detriment,i knew he  is not worth it,i voted for ngige, not because he is an idemili man,but because is a better man for the job, anambrarians were deceived by obi's girly voice, even my parents and younger ones against my advice voted for him, with this kind of performance i wonder who would vote for APGA,again in anambra.

Decrrryptor:

Well it's not compulsory to comment on the topic but you went further to shoot yourself on the foot by typing rubbish. Speak for yourself and not others. In what area did Obi do well? I schooled at the Nnamdi Azikiwe University in Awka and was there when Ngige was Governor and when Peter Obi came in.
In the brief period in which Ngige piloted the affairs of the state, there was considerable changes and he took giant strides in providing basic amenities for the people of Anambra. 90percent of the road network in the state was not pliable but all that changed when Ngige became governor. Some of the road projects Ngige was handling which was unfinished due to the crisis that rocked his political career and was completed by Peter Obi which he (Obi) later claimed that he was the one who started.
I think he did some work in the area of infrastructural improvement which is the only point i know you would tackle me with if given the opportunity but he failed woefully in the area of employment. No single civil servant was employed in his four years. Empowerment of the people was zero. He created more poverty than he met. And of course the last two items are the most important dividends of democracy.

There's the internet and then there's reality. Most people I know in real life who genuinely thought this Tinubu's administration was actually going to usher in renewed hope for them have actually seen that is not the case. On the internet it is normal for everybody to grandstand taunting each other about the outcome of the elections, political differences , etc.

Off the internet, everybody resident in this country are living the reality. This is not even about any "baby step of pain". When u hear people talking and lamenting, u will know it goes beyond just using word of mouth to support government on empty stomach.

MTN and other telecos are already mulling idea of increasing tariffs in line with current economic reality. They feel it is unfair that almost all manufacturer and service providers can increase price but they can't due to regulations. Imagine if that one adds to the food inflation and all these new taxes Tinubu is coming up with.

When did this become a problem? Let me check your comments about Obi investing Anambra money into Fidelity Bank and Hero beer which he sits on their boards
Adverse fuel scarcity and price increase, electricity tariff increased, inflation through the roof, stamp duty charges on mortgages introduced, telecom tax: coming soon, 0.5% cybersecurity fee by The CBN. Economy in shambles, hardship like never before in Nigeria.

But you must mention Peter Obi as the president that he is.

Nigeria has had problems for decades that were not resolved and its going to take a lot to get anywhere close to normal. That is the truth regardless of what anyone tells you

Obi is known to lie through his teeth and display hypocrisy when he did the exact opposite when in power
