Westerhorf knew that Yekini was misfiring. Yet in absence of Amokachi he brought in Thompson Oliha and Adepoju was already in the pitch. Just Siasia would have killed that game off. Imagine such pass to yekini and he couldn't sort his legs. My whole family cried that night honestly. My pop even said that coach sold the match.

According to my source; The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) and Finidi George have concluded discussions on contract terms and his assistants.

Finidi was asked to set up his technical staff and assistants but the NFF will add Daniel Amokachi to the coaching crew and a goalkeeper trainer.

My source confirmed the NFF reached out to Vincent Enyeama to take up the role of the Goalkeeper trainer but it seems Enyeama is not interested in the role and offer. He hasn't responded.

Finidi is bringing three other assistants aside from Amokachi and the goalkeeper trainer from the NFF.

There is a GK trainer (Baruwa) who worked with Peseiro and Finidi. NFF also mentioned Vincent Enyeama. I don't think Finidi will have any objection between Baruwa (the current GK trainer) and Enyeama.

And for Amokachi, Finidi is coming with his first assistant coach (Amokachi will be the second assistant coach), a Fitness Trainer, and a Match Analyst. I heard the three assistants are coming from Europe, the first assistant coach is a Nigerian-German.

Most of these players are no longer the ones that made us Happy in the 90s. Oyo for who wan gbe mata sori like say they get best interest of SE at heart. Once we exhaust the 90s set in this coaching debacles, i wonder who they'll start with from the 2000s 😆

I’ve always thought about this because most the players who retired from mid 2000s either don’t want anything to do with Nigeria football are not interested in coaching
