Bloomberg article is not praising Nigeria but it criticising Nigeria saying that the debt settlement is long overdue. The issue here is that you guys are not smart to understand financial analysis and you are just posting rubbish. Again as per dollar supply if dollar supply improved the naira should not have depreciated above 1420 today at NAFEM official window.

Companies now have access to getting dollars at the official rate. It's no more like before they couldn't get dollars at the official rate.

I believe you are a dunderhead otherwisie you would realise that this is a negative news. What it simply means is that capital and funds are flowing from Nigeria to overseas, part of which is Management fees to overseas owners of those companies or debt obligations, at more naira(because naira eas lower when they were procured). Its tantamount to using the scarce forex here to pay obligations rather than use it for productive development.
