mercedes EQS SUV...fully electric and a full charge should drive you abuja to JOS without recharging with AC turned on....410 million naira

I like the range of 315 miles or 506km.

Massive battery 100kwh+

Mercedes dey try. Car is around $100k to $125k in the USA. I guess exchange rate, duty and shipping cost is to blame for that ₦410m tag in Naija.

Let them ship in Xiaomi SU7 EV. At least boys can afford that one.

Can the Sunking 10kwh carry his load?
I cannot send the voice notes the installer sent claiming the batteries will serve overnight!
Dam5reey:

Well, going by 10KWH LFP Sunking, 3.5KVA, and 4500W panels, for 11M is not bad, similar prices on Sumec Fireman, Prag, Pylontech, Fouani LG, and co.

Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by durodee(m): 8:20pm On May 08
The client sent the installer the picture he took of the Felicity 15kwh with me. I have told him he will need about 4 units to have a chance of covering his loads . Installer told him not to worry, that he will bring "better " system for him. All loads to be covered including water pump for a few hours. Payment was then made.
When boys of the installer came to do their thing, he noticed a discrepancy and he took pictures and sent to me.
The installer is claiming 2.5kwh Sunking will Cary the loads better than 15kwh of Felicity. How in the world is that possible? That is dubious plain and simple.
I told you 25 of us are going for a trip and you book a G-wagon for the trip, can a G-wagon transport 25 people even if the costs may worth it?
I believe the installer had stock at hand that he was glad to see an outlet to move at all cost.
The hotel owner has determined to "host" the installer boys overnight in his hotel to test the veracity of their claims.
We all know where the story will end

I have 2*475w jinko panels.

For your batteries' sake, only use your microwave if there is no other option and it must be during the day when the sun is up up.

I've cut down on my 1am-3am Fridge usage.
Fridge and other heavy appliances (iron of 900w) I use during the day.

Thanks for the quick response.

Demand for Fuel following increased prices is inelastic in nature, meaning even if they sell fuel for 2000/litre today, people will still buy. But the demand will be very elastic in the future as people will actively look for and be more receptive to alternatives to fuel.

We are already seeing a lot of adoption of solar energy as an alternative to fuel for domestic application. Next in line are solar-powered or electric vehicles. One good thing this whole fuel crisis is going to do for us is eventual uncoupling or reduced dependence on fuel, at least for the transportation sector. It may look impossible, but it is doable.

I forsee an EV/solar energy company producing vehicles suitable for our market, especially as regards budget. It will definitely open up new opportunities as well.

When the big truck is coming, just clear it by the road side grin grin.
I doubt if there is any charging station in Nigeria. I'm sure people are working on that project and I'm also waiting to hear the cost and the materials used.
I guess people are charging their electric cars at home now using PV and NEPA light.
Pv is the best option

We will start with used/tokumbo electric cars. We don't like new products in Nigeria because they don't last. Some say the new ones are too expensive. We prefer grade A used ones otherwise known as original tokumbo electric cars grin grin grin

solar powered vehicle? Like to power the radio and lights abi? Cause the amount of panels you need to turn the four tires at up to even 50km/h no be small thing o.

The allowable voltage range that will not harm the cells is 2.500v-3.650v.
The working voltage range is 3.000v-3.400v per cell.
Charging above 3.425v per cell gains you nothing other than tear and wear because there is no appreciable stored energy above that voltage.

Can I use 16 pieces of 625W jinko panel with this inverter? 8 in series twice and then parallel the two pairs of 8panels together.
