Donsheddy, you cannot defeat the low of the previous day easily, that is the simple explanation for that candle.

I think it all boils down why you join this line of business in the first place. Money is important, but that was not the major reason I joined. I joined because I want to understand this business and create a career in it too.

For someone that joined to make money solely, that's why they fall prey to some scammers disguising as traders. If you can't use your head, someone will use it for you against you.

Reason why I didn't start and never made use of any[b] indicators[/b], forex signal groups, etc. If you are a pro, show me your trade calls, I won't take it but I wanna know why you are taking it instead so as to learn from it. I know money will come once the art of trading is mastered, so I'm never bothered to make money at my learning stage.

I pretty much cut out a trade immediately it goes against me ruthlessly, no ifs or buts, I've done it so much over time that it has turned second nature to me, I always have a certain amount I'm willing to lose on each trade I take depending on my equity.

Go read 'Phantom of the Pits' summary by Tom Hougaard, it's free on his website, it'll help you tremendously in learning how to cut a loss quickly.

Wow, typical trade I would have taken if I was a swing trader based on those candle sticks I'm seeing above. In fact it would have triggered my sell limit with that Monday candle, and by now I would have broken even.

Boss GabsonFX, please I need an advice from you. I've backtested my strategy on scalping, it works, day trading also, it works, even swinging it works. Is this normal? Or I'm just being euphoric? The winning rate is so high with a nice risk to reward that sometimes I feel it could stop working at some point in time.

I've backtested back to 2010, it worked nice too. I'm just curious. At what point did you feel that yes, I've had this down?

You are good brother, if it works, it works; when it will fail, make sure the failure is met with a good risk/money management; then you will be good.

At what point? You will know, you will see it: you will always come out positive after an average number of trades has been taken as long as you don't deviate.
