The reason why some Nigerians avoid famzing is that we know ourselves.😀 I met a guy like 3 months ago at Nigerian association meeting , next thing he’s asking me for $5k loan to get another apartment. Everytime we are together, he is bombarding me with his problems from home and shit. I had to start avoiding him because my own dey my body. 17 Likes 5 Shares |

The once monthly Nigeria community meeting we attend here is always fun. People contribute for different foods, drinks and small snacks. They play music and dance. Good orators tell funny jokes. I always look for to attend the end of month meeting. Not only that, whenever any member has something like wedding, burial ceremony or graduation, they show up en mass. They make dollars rain. They also look out for one another, have welfare officers who check on people they have not seen after a while. They have a group life insurance policy. They have a group store discount card where you could use the card to purchase things on good discount from certain stores. People tell each other about job openings. They also make sure the deceased body is taken home for final burial if the family so desires. Long live OPA Boston! 13 Likes 3 Shares |

I never noticed it during my stay. I realized women were quick to cut themselves off from the Nigerian community. I found it better to stick with what I was familiar with (the Nigerian community) than trying to understand new cultures. 1 Like 1 Share |

If you are a Nigerian abroad and you are Toxic, just know you have been toxic from back home. It didn't just happen. Toxicity is as a result of hardship and poverty. Most of you are doing shitty jobs that you can't even pay rent. My advise is for you to enroll into the University and get a degree that will help your life. Get a UK Degree online from anywhere you are. You do not need to pay the huge UK Tution fee of £15,000. You will be given a huge Discount on Tution. You will just pay £4000 per year as Tution fee. All courses are available from B.Sc, M.Sc or Doctorate all from a UK University. Best part is you STUDY ONLINE. Get preoccupied. Develop yourself. Study something you like that can land you a better job with good money and you will see how toxicity will fly out of you without you even knowing. If not, most of you will end up Single for the rest of your life as I hear that most Nigerians abroad are either single or divorced. Nobody would want to live with you because of your toxicity. If you are interested in getting a UK Degree with huge Tution Fee discount, you can send me a DM let me help your life. 4 Likes |

Some (not all) Nigerian communities are toxic EVERYWHERE! Yep. Even here in Nigeria! If this was ever in doubt, last general elections cleared such doubts. 1 Like |
