How do you mean by nothing is working under this government. What about CRIME?

Bunch of heartless leaders. Despite all these suffering, how can a sane person add to people's burden.

Only God knows how these people sleep at night, maybe their conscience is dead

Is there anywhere I said I said the money goes to the banks ?

I simply posited that banks are in a better position to bare these levies given the windfall they have been making
Your second statement is in contrast with the first.

Hope it won't sha affect Opay, if not for 0pay transactions would have been grounded in Nigeria, all these big banks should be mandated to pay the customer some rebates for any failed transaction.

Tinubu can not win a free and fair election in Nigeria

You have not stated anything different from the people who argued with me in the above thread. I would stake all my life's savings on Tinubu to win a free and fair election if conducted any day and any time in Nigeria.

This is a criminal levy. If it must be done, it should be 0.05% and not ten times that.
It shouldn't be done in the first place. Is it only banks that need cybersecurity? Don't banks have their cybersecurity unit?

there is nothing like water tax in the Uk, just water bills and you have a metre for that. If you do not use water, you do not pay because you have a meter and its outside on a walkway a small manhole! This is why its a bill and not TAX
Now council tax in the Uk is a whole different ball game,In Northern Ireland which is part of the Uk they DO NOT PAY COUNCIL TAX
Also, if you do not rent a whole apartment, you do not pay council tax, People in full time Education DO NOT pay council tax, peopla under 18 do not pay council tax, Members of the armed forces who are i n the armed forces do not pay tax. You guys assume too much

The heading of your post is misleading, the charges is not on all transactions.

In the long run, it applies to all transactions.

When you take a loan, won't you spend it on something else?

When you earn a salary, won't you spend it on something else?

The exemptions are just cosmetic.

That is totally wrong. I pay water tax which has been calculated from April to December. It's doesn't have to do with whether I use water or not. It has been sent to me just like council tax so I know what am saying my dear

That said Council Tax and water service charges not water tax
What you have as charges to your water bill, some of us have a fixed water meter which got read monthly or quarterly, you on the other hand have estimated billing.!
