emmasoft:Oga Ema, how can I do that on the app that at the end of each month my interest should be added to my capital? |
Re: Mutual Funds by emmasoft(m): 8:47am On May 07 |
Plus10: You don't need to do anything. The accrued interest is added to your capital automatically if you opt for reinvestment of interest at the point of registration. If otherwise, send mail to customer care that you want to change your option to reinvestment of interest. They will send you a form to complete, once done, your interest will be added to your capital at the end of every month going forward. |
Re: Mutual Funds by NL1960: 12:40pm On May 07 |
emmasoft: This is true. I sent a redemption request by 9:30am this morning though the portal. The funds came in today by 12:30pm. When i did a redemption the last time and it was taking time, they sent me a mail and text message that there is a delay from the custodian end. I later got the funds in the night. 1 Like |

Re: Mutual Funds by vefexam: 11:25am On May 08 |
emmasoft good day. Please I do have some USD I wish to invest. Which is the right investment vehicle also probably with more information like duration, rate, minimum amount T&C , etc if possible. Thanks. |
Re: Mutual Funds by emmasoft(m): 12:40pm On May 08 |
vefexam: @vefexam You can do dollar fund. My preference is Norrenberger Dollar fund. Here are the details of the fund. Norrenberger Dollar Fund Details. The Norrenberger US Dollar Fund: This is a collective investment scheme, registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). The objective of the Fund is to hedge against currency risk while providing liquidity and competitive returns to investors. The Fund is targeted at Retail Investors, High Net-worth Individuals, Africans in the diaspora, Local and Foreign Institutional Investors seeking Dollar dominated investments. The Fund invests in Sovereign & Corporate Eurobonds and dollar denominated money market instruments. Features: • Return on investment is competitive and tax-free. • The Fund is open-ended and constituted under a Trust Deed. • Quarterly dividend payment or reinvestment. • Redemption of units within the first 90-day period attracts a 20% penalty charge on accrued return. • Redemption is processed within 5 working days. • Online access is available to monitor fund performance. • Diversified portfolio in dollar-denominated instruments. • Minimum subscription is 5 units and subsequent addition of 1 unit at the prevailing price per unit. • Purchase price is $103.52, yield of 10.57% as of 8th May 2024. Please let me know when you are ready. You can call/chat me up with details on my signature. |
Re: Mutual Funds by vefexam: 1:10pm On May 08 |
emmasoft: That means I cannot redraw the funds for at least 3 months else I will pay 20% of the interest accrued in the principal. Also explain more of this," Purchase price is $103.52, yield of 10.57% " does it mean whatever I invest will be divided by 103.52 to get how many unit I own? And I make 10.57% of that per month or annum? |
Re: Mutual Funds by emmasoft(m): 2:05pm On May 08 |
vefexam: The answer to your first two questions is yes. The rate is per annum |

Re: Mutual Funds by cucumbar: 12:06pm On May 10 |
emmasoft:does this rate work like the Naira MMF rate of Stanbic IBTC ? What will be my daily interest on say, 30k dollars at this rate ? |
Re: Mutual Funds by emmasoft(m): 2:56pm On May 10 |
adunola03: Please who is the fund manager of the fund? I need more information or chat me up. |
Re: Mutual Funds by emmasoft(m): 3:15pm On May 10 |
cucumbar: Dollar fund works exactly like naira MMF. Accrued daily and interest is paid/reinvested quarterly depending on your choice at registration. Formula: P x R x T P is principal R is rate T is time Note: Rate is divided by 100 Time is divided by 365 days. For a $30,000 investment, therefore, Amount = 30,000 x 8.02/100 x 1/365 30,000 x 0.802 x 0.003 = $6.59 From this calculation, you will earn $6.59 daily and 6.59 x 365 = $2,405.99 per annum. Remember just like Naira MMF rate, it's also not static. It's daily valued. Please contact me for the form when ready for the investment, that is the way you can help my ministry. |
