Theres no imitation of anything. Man will instinctively sing or rap to a beat that will propell is brain to align with the beat. UK rap and US rap are entirely different. Even UK grime beat is different from US rap beat. Everyone has their way of rap so the UK doesn't imitate anyone. Listen to UK rappers like Devilman, Skepta, D-Double and tell me how they imitate US rappers.

Baba rap music didn't originate from the USA. USA rappers only started the foundation of modern rap. Jamaicans have been rapping far gone. No one originated rap, rap is something inbuilt in humans. Nobody can teach you how to rap when you are born with it. You can see by what I posted that Jamaicans brought rap to UK and I'm sure UK must have been rapping then also.
