But tinubu lost Lagos in the last election?
The few that voted him did so on hope, but judging by his performance. If another election is held today, he is not getting half of what he got the last time in Lagos.
grin grin
There is more to lagos politics than this your analysis.
You are underating Lagosians.

Atiku, the new Maradona has spoken, the trick is well soldout we allow Obi dropped his guard, crept 8nto his support base and dismembered Obidients or allow Obi run for 2027 if he wins the year 2031 and 2035 will be an easy run so Obi get 4 years Articulated 8 years.

Either ways Atiku the winner.
Will Atiku be ready to drop guard or sponsor Obi for 4 years term, I doubt.
There is nothing to doubt
Wike was the reason Atiku contested the last election, because Wike fought against zoning as he too wanted to contest. Atiku doesn't have anything against Obi & he has said it countless times if the party zone candidacy to southeast he will support who ever emerge

And they will vote Obi?

That is nothing but wishful thinking

If an election is held in Lagos state today with incumbency

Obi will never bet 25%

You can bet everything you have on that

When it suits you you say election was rigged and when it suits you cite the same election results as evidence your candidate is popular

Lagos votes will be higher than Kano as long as Tinubu is in power and he will get over 90%

The HBP this news has caused is so loud gan.
The grab and run with community are running crazy.
They know PO won the 2023 election on his own despite running on structureless party.

What is really crazy is the fact that tinubu community is talking about 2027.
I dont know or understand what is in the brain of these people.
The nation is in total shambles and collaspe. Tinubu has ragmastass the whole nation.
People who claim to be normal are here talking about 2027.
Will Nigeria of today survive still 2027?
You typed this crap while drinking Hero Beer and listening to radio biafla grin

Did Tinubu lose Lagos in the last election or not? Don't u people have brain at all...Who is talking about analysis? Someone lost election when people were yet to rate his performance, now that his performance is below average by setting the nation on untold hardship & suffering, is it now he will win the election in Lagos??

Even northeners are regretting already
feeble minded will not appreciate the key performances, Nigeria will not remain in vicious circle forever. with little fine tunings, Tinubu govt will be the best in Africa of all time. He only needs to check the overbearing power minister that has no regard for Nigerian naira value and some anti people policies of CBN like cybersecurity level.

Who voted him the last time that made tinubu lose Lagos?? The incumbency u are talking about is rigging abi? This 2027 election is going to be very different, because people have lost hope in the judiciary & will do anything to defend their votes. It is not going to be easy for them to manipulate like that of last year believe me!

See the way you are insulting me that 'you people don't have brain?' that's rude. Learn to control your emotions.
You talked about performance for someone who just spent one year in office knowing fully well how his predecessor bastardized the economy. Aside from that, is it the same year you gained admission into university that you also graduated?

Even though I don't support Obi, I see this plot as an attempt to use Obi by squeezing his base.

How?

PDP is unlikely to zone the ticket to the southeast. Who will plead the case and on what basis? PDP currently has only 1 governor in the southeast in Peter Mbah, Enugu state. So tell me the southeast politician who'd promote the idea. Adolphus Wabara? Ben Obi? Okwesilezie Nwodo? John Nwodo? Anyim Pius Anyim?

Please tell me who'd promote it.

The best thing Atiku would have said for me to trust his intentions is to say he'd work for the ticket to be zoned to the southeast. Atiku didn't say that. Do you expect Bala Mohammed or Bukola Saraki to support zoning it to the southeast?

Peter Obi is in labour and it has a fair national spread. All Atiku needs is to bring his northern votes. Peter Obi won two geopolitical zones. Atiku won one. Merge those three and fringe votes from the northwest and christian votes from the middle-belt if he has a strong politician from the north as running mate. That is the only calculation.

Will politicians with selfish ambitions allow it? Even if PDP zones it to the southeast, will core Igbo politicians support Obi?

Forget PDP zoning that ticket to the southeast with hawks like Atiku still having ambitions.

My advise to Peter Obi: you won the southsouth and south-east and was competitive in the north-central. Tinubu won the southwest, northwest and northcentral and was competitive in the northeast. The north contributed the bulk of votes that gave Tinubu the presidency***. How can you pluck those votes?

***Tinubu got 5,598,686 (63.5%) of his votes from the north. He got 3,206,734 (36.5%) from the south. So whoever wants to unseat Tinubu needs to tackle him in the north. Which southerner can accomplish that?
Holy Bleep, u sabi naija politics die.

So Tinubu is a northerner or are you counting on religious extremists in the North who can vote Osana Bin Laden as president of Nigeria instead of Peter Obi?
Up north they will vote for a bad Muslim before they even consider the good Christian

They would vote for an ISWAP/Boko Haram leader sef, instead of an Igbo Christian from the south

Why?
Atiku knows Tinubu better than any other politician and he knows that defeating Tinubu is almost impossible as a sitting president.thats why,he spent much to at the US courts trying to rubbishTinubu's University result.dont forget, only a Man of Tinubu's political sagacity could defy all the overwhelming odds (Aso rock cabal,Muslim Muslim ticket, last minute betrayal from his close friends, etc)against him to become the president ,and you think,a desperate Atiku or a pretender like Obi can defeat such Man ,who knows weilds the highest powers in the land?anyway, hallucinations is free.

People might do anything in Aba
Not in Lagos

As long as we are talking about Lagos state Obi will Not get 10%
People which people? Stop kidding yourself
People will vote based on tribe and religion that is always the case in Nigeria and in 2027
No one will get 25% in any SW state

There will be no Naira recoloring or scarcity.
Tinubu also has 3 years to perform and has a good chance to do so
Only Bitter Obidients have concluded that he must fail
Regardless of who is in charge the Nigerian Economy will improve by 2027 because the fundamentals are in place for that and it will not be about government.

Dangote refinery which Buhari deserves for will be a game changer. The Ukraine war will end and things will pick up by 2027 the pains of subsidy removal will be a memory

Atiku wey don know say his last trial was the 2023 election. He will just push Obi to go and waste his resources to face Tinubu in 2027. If Peter Obi wise make he no spent much for 2027 just as Atiku didn't spend much when he fly ACN presidential ticket that year.

grin If someone defeated a sitting Vice President, Senate President, current senators, ministers, party chairman, amongst others while holding no position himself, I wonder how he would be removed from office now that he has all the powers to maneuver the Nigerian political space! To even think otherwise would be tantamount to having a willful ignorance and a strong delusion.
Get some sense...

You think in an environment that is now tensed, where people are now cautious of who they elect as a leader due to the untold hardship they are currently facing, come rigging go dey very hard o.

Don't go there.

Atiku wont. He is just baiting Obi to come back into the PDP fold before using his influence to quash any SE presidency aspiration within the party. That will weaken the LP influence and boost his chance.

The old man has ended the failed party.
Seriously it's too early to start talking about 2027. The drunk of a woman should first of all persuade BAT to fulfill his promises before talking about who will win 2027. BAT has 3 years still in office to sway the governance in the right direction but the truth is if he fails like Buhari did, I am sure there will not be any political calculation that will save him, he has started on the wrong foot but he still has time to correct things and make his re-election possible.

On the other hand it is too early for the permutation but one thing sure is Atiku can't resurrect PDP nationally enough to stand a chance, PO can't even move to PDP because that will be his immediate political demise. The most sensible thing to do is step aside and play an elder statesman and support a winning ship which will bring his dead political career alive anything other than that is digging his political grave more deeper.
