You talked about performance for someone who just spent one year in office knowing fully well how his predecessor bastardized the economy. Aside from that, is it the same year you gained admission into university that you also graduated?

PDP is unlikely to zone the ticket to the southeast. Who will plead the case and on what basis? PDP currently has only 1 governor in the southeast in Peter Mbah, Enugu state. The best thing Atiku would have said for me to trust his intentions is to say he'd work for the ticket to be zoned to the southeast. Atiku didn't say that. Do you expect Bala Mohammed or Bukola Saraki to support zoning it to the southeast?

Peter Obi is in labour and it has a fair national spread. All Atiku needs is to bring his northern votes. Peter Obi won two geopolitical zones. Atiku won one. Merge those three and fringe votes from the northwest and christian votes from the middle-belt if he has a strong politician from the north as running mate. That is the only calculation.

Will politicians with selfish ambitions allow it? Even if PDP zones it to the southeast, will core Igbo politicians support Obi?

Forget PDP zoning that ticket to the southeast with hawks like Atiku still having ambitions.

My advise to Peter Obi: you won the southsouth and south-east and was competitive in the north-central. Tinubu won the southwest, northwest and northcentral and was competitive in the northeast. The north contributed the bulk of votes that gave Tinubu the presidency***. How can you pluck those votes?

***Tinubu got 5,598,686 (63.5%) of his votes from the north. He got 3,206,734 (36.5%) from the south. So whoever wants to unseat Tinubu needs to tackle him in the north. Which southerner can accomplish that?

Atiku wey don know say his last trial was the 2023 election. He will just push Obi to go and waste his resources to face Tinubu in 2027. If Peter Obi wise make he no spent much for 2027 just as Atiku didn't spend much when he fly ACN presidential ticket that year.

Seriously it's too early to start talking about 2027. The drunk of a woman should first of all persuade BAT to fulfill his promises before talking about who will win 2027. BAT has 3 years still in office to sway the governance in the right direction but the truth is if he fails like Buhari did, I am sure there will not be any political calculation that will save him, he has started on the wrong foot but he still has time to correct things and make his re-election possible.

On the other hand it is too early for the permutation but one thing sure is Atiku can't resurrect PDP nationally enough to stand a chance, PO can't even move to PDP because that will be his immediate political demise. The most sensible thing to do is step aside and play an elder statesman and support a winning ship which will bring his dead political career alive anything other than that is digging his political grave more deeper.
