New Olodo Bridge Opened In Oyo. Residents Celebrate (video, Photos) by Glimpsetv: 4:57am On May 21
The Oyo state government has opened the first part of the new Olodo bridge in Ibadan. The state's commissioner for works, Dahud Sangodoyin, opened the bridge with many residents celebrating.

In July 2023, a heavy flood caused the old bridge to collapse, forcing people to take different routes. Now that the first part of the new bridge is done, cars can use it again while the rest of the bridge is being built.

Residents and road users are happy about the new bridge. They remember the difficulties when the road was bad. Local traders are excited because they expect more customers now. The new bridge will help people move around easily and boost the local economy.

The residents rolled out drums in celebration of the opening of the phase one of the project.

The Oyo Governor, Engr Seyi Makinde has also promised to complete the remaining phase in due course.

The Oyo Governor, Engr Seyi Makinde has also promised to complete the remaining phase in due course.

The above is the reason we have so many uncompleted roads and projects thereby making it difficult for people to really enjoy these roads.

You will see strategic road projects stopped at points where it will connect to another city, town ,bridge or state.

Or double lanes with one part done and the other left.

Why can't we finish these things completely for people to enjoy fully?

Completing remaining phases most times means abandonment.

I see erosion.

I thought it's only in the southeast they encounter erosion according to the sophisticated morons.

N/B
Some of those sophisticated mo.rons I talked about like WorldRichest, Scatterscatter and kilometres are already here calling this one flooding. If it's in their Ogbomosho they call it flooding but if it's in the SE they call it erosion.
Go and check the causes of erosion and see that they are all the same. Olodos!

Non sophisticated slowpoke, why did you drop out of Primary School, and jumped into Mallam Audu's trailer carrying Cows from Bornu through Igboland to Lagos to come and sell Gala and La Casera inside Lagos, Ogun and Oyo hold-ups and sleep under Lagos, Ogun and Oyo bridges?

Seyi Makinde representing as usual.

The signatures are adding up. Let's make this a reality

So, I created a petition that seeks to end the rip-off IELTS keeps perpetrating with the 2-year validity of their test results, particularly for high scorers who scored btw Band 8-9. Surely, someone who got a band 9 shouldn't, wouldn't, couldn't have lost the skill that earned him/her a band 9 after two years.

Pls join the petition and let's make this change happen. Share across all platforms, as millions stand to benefit.

Lifetime validity of test results!
