Ignore them and be prayerful. I want to believe they are Yoruba neighbors.

Is it easy to find a place to move to. All these agents and agreement thing is insane most especially in Lagos. Best thing is to involve the landlord again and complain vehemently about the case

As someone who has experienced noisy and careless neighbours, i know your write up is trash. Sometimes i couldn't sleep after all the stress and Lagos traffic. Complete hell.

I’d advise you do to them equal measures. Go and get loud speaker, mad loud speaker and play the weirdest of music whenever they want to seek peace and sleep. Do this for like one week, play mad music overnight and take away their sleep.
You should buy ear plugs and wear them to sleep

My brother if you like the area and house, just ignore them otherwise look for another place and move out... I hate having this kind of neighbors(especially when the family is much) poor people na them born too much pass..... Nonsense!!!!!! I will definitely emulate my Parents style, just 3 of us, no stress...

This is not about no condition is permanent. Nobody do anybody!!. Someone of us do not like someone creating a nuisance for us at least someone that rents a flat should have a little peace of mind.

Anybody advising u to leave the apartment should fund ur account, I have lived in worse places, when u want to fight make sure it's a fight u will and must win,
U can't convert u kitchen to room then come to inconvenient me,
My own case , I rented a selfcon in 2013 most of my neighbors where envious, I was the only person that has government water, the rest neighbors fetch in the streets my selfcon was built in front of the main building, the rest stay in face mee I slap u one room,
One of my neighbor who doesn't like me brought his village meeting to my compound and they had the meet near my door, all the time noise and fight on their meeting I can't sleep, one Sunday my wife spread my baby's clothes outside beside my entrance door, they came and removed it and assembled their chairs and table, I went outside and removed their chair and put my baby's hanger back, the one who's their president who doesn't live in my compound carried my baby's clothes and hanger and threw it inside canal,
My head scatter, come see fight!!!!
I wanted to go to Pedro police station to report ,some of them held me and some quickly rushed to police station thinking na who first report dey win case,
They were about 15 and just me and my wife, some police where supporting them cos they were many, I kept calm and held my id card, they all wrote in their statement that i stabbed the president of their meeting cos he didn't show up at the station , they said he went for threatment,
When the dpo came and was investigating, I showed him my id card, police dey fear press men, the next day , I took all my clothes and babies clothes he dumped inside canal to the station, the president came , the dpo asked him, where's the bottle wounds and man replied "no body stabbed me"
I sidon deyy laff, the dpo now told him why he didn't have that meeting in his own house at ketu, he said how dare u go to his house to disturb him in his compound ?
U even fought him, can't u go and rent hall for ur meeting, he said none of u want to have the meeting in ur own house but want to go disturb others, the dpo now said u will pay for everything, I was there when the dpo locked him and my neighbor up and told me to go calculate the damages, I collect my money more than complete,
Back to topic....
Oga don't pack out , stay there , just don't cross their boundaries , don't fight them, keep ur evidences, if they abuse u , ignore them, police go tell u say to abuse no be crime,
They will only see how foolish they are when u ignore them, but if them inconvenient u, do the needful

When i say that an average nigerian is not normal, people think am been overactive. You want him to endure smells and noise, because he has animals as neighbours ?

Op, you don't owe anybody even good morning sef, you've paid your house rent and your comfort is paramount since the landlord provided same facilities for everybody. You took the right step by reporting to the landlord but since the case is relatively settled, why bring it to Nairaland or don't you have friends to gist with ?

My dear many people are just inconsiderate, you left your flat and come at the back of your neighbour's window to inconvenience him and people are here talking about considering them.

The Best thing is to Move to another House with less interference with neighbours. I had similar experiences in a face me I face you apartment, where neighbours would liter my door step with all manner of food particles and dirts because their kitchen is facing my apartment. We fought and insulted ourselves. It got to an extent, I couldn't take it anymore, I had to look for money to get another apartment. The rent is expensive but it worth it. Where I stay now there is no interference with neighbours everybody minds his or her business. No fight No quarrels No breach of privacy. The only thing that joins us together is Nepa bill and Cleaning money. That's all

Anything that affects your peace of mind is not worth it. Leave that apartment. Your peace of mind comes first brother.
