Why are people blaming the Police officer? The driver was arrested and taken to the station but changed route which means he his kidnapping the officer so what is the police officer’s fault. So the officer should just be looking until when he will be taken to a dangerous place.

You can’t abduct a police officer for whatever reason. There is no justification for driving off with a police officer in car and refusing to stop when asked to. The video is enough evidence to send the driver to jail.

You are the only sensible person. I am no fan of the Nigeria Police as I was recently mistreated in an Uber. I was told the exit the car rudely, i was searched and then let go as I had committed no offence.

It is illegal to flee from a traffic cstop and try to evade the police. Worse still adbducting a police officer. If this had happened in the U.S ( a saner clime haters of Nigeria like to reference) what do you think would have happened to this driver? Look on YouTube for videos of drivers fleeing traffic stops in the US to find your anwser.

This is just terrible. The uber driver is a stubborn goat, and the policeman is an irresponsible officer, just look at how they were endangering lives - their own lives (which clearly means nothing to them), the lady's life, and the lives of other road users. They both should face the music.

The policeman was like we die here . But this ain't funny. He endangered the lives of everyone in the car. Crazy country full of crazy people.

So many things wrong in this country. First, it's not ok for a policeman to enter an erring drivers car. Until the government do the right thing by making a law by digitalizing everything, then we are not ready for anything. We are actually not a serious country yet.
1) police should have compulsory bodycams.
2) they should only give you ticket and let you go and pay.
3) they can only arrest you if there is a probable cause like you are a wanted criminal. Theft,drugs, guns, murder.....etc

We are just too unorganized.
