When comparing the accounts of the trials of Jesus in the four Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John), there are some differences and nuances in the details presented. Here is a comparison of the trials of Jesus as depicted in each Gospel:
- **Before the Sanhedrin**:
- **Matthew**: Jesus is brought to Caiaphas first, then to the full Sanhedrin.
- **Mark**: Jesus is brought directly to the house of the high priest.
- **Luke**: The Sanhedrin assembly is not explicitly mentioned.
- **John**: Jesus is brought to Annas first, then to Caiaphas.
I am glad I had indicated that you pay close attention to the dictionary definition of the word Contradiction as right from the very first compilation it is clear that you have a hard time grasping the meaning well.

MATTHEW - Jesus Christ was taken to the High Priest, Caiaphas.
57 The men who arrested Jesus led him to the house of Caiaphas the high priest. The teachers of the law and the older Jewish leaders were gathered there. - Matthew 26 vs 57
MARK - Jesus Christ was taken to the High Priest, Caiaphas.
53 Those who arrested Jesus led him to the house of the high priest. All the leading priests, the older Jewish leaders, and the teachers of the law were gathered there.
54 Peter followed Jesus but stayed back at a distance. He followed him to the yard of the high priest’s house. He went into the yard and sat there with the guards, warming himself by their fire.
55 The leading priests and the whole high council tried to find something that Jesus had done wrong so they could kill him. But the council could find no proof that would allow them to kill Jesus.
56 Many people came and told lies against Jesus, but they all said different things. None of them agreed. - Mark 14 vs 53 - 56
JOHN - Jesus Christ was tied and brought Him before Annas
12 Then the soldiers with their commander and the Jewish guards arrested Jesus. They tied him
13 and brought him to Annas, the father-in-law of Caiaphas. Caiaphas was the high priest that year.
14 He was also the one who had told the other Jewish leaders that it would be better if one man died for all the people
...
19 The high priest asked Jesus questions about his followers and what he taught them.
20 Jesus answered, “I have always spoken openly to all people. I always taught in the synagogues and in the Temple area. All the Jews come together there. I never said anything in secret.
21 So why do you question me? Ask the people who heard my teaching. They know what I said.”
22 When Jesus said this, one of the guards standing there hit him. The guard said, “You should not talk to the high priest like that!”
23 Jesus answered, “If I said something wrong, tell everyone here what was wrong. But if what I said is right, then why do you hit me?”
24 So Annas sent Jesus to Caiaphas the high priest. He was still tied.
- John 18 vs 12 - 14
Absolutely no contradiction in all of the passages. undecided

The Contradictions is clear as daylight in the OP!
- **Charges**:
- **Matthew**: The false witnesses accuse Jesus of threatening to destroy the temple.
- **Mark**: The witnesses' testimonies are inconsistent and do not agree.
- **Luke**: The witnesses' testimonies are not recorded.
- **John**: Jesus is questioned about His disciples and His teachings.
Once again, I am glad I had indicated that you pay close attention to the dictionary definition of the word Contradiction as right from the very first compilation it is clear that you have a hard time grasping the meaning well.

Clearly, even in this case, you did not find any contradictions so why assert a contradiction? undecided

Was he taken to the Caiaphas the High priest directly or to Annas before Caiaphas the High priest?

The accounts do not give a definitive statement as far as where He was first taken as soon as He left Gethsemane. The following are possible scenarios

a) He may have been taken to Anas and then to Caiaphas
b) He may have been taken to Caiaphas, then to Anas and then back to Caiaphas
c) He may have been put in a cell before it all
.... Where He was taken FIRST is not established by any of the accounts. So your OP on this and your claim that there exists some sort of contradiction is a lie. undecided

John said he was taken to Anas before Caiaphas!

Others didn't report that!

Gospel of Matthew (Matthew 26:57-68):
In Matthew's Gospel, Jesus is first taken to Caiaphas the high priest.
After being taken to Caiaphas, Peter denies Jesus three times.
Then, in Matthew 26:69-75, it mentions Peter's denial of Jesus.

Gospel of Mark (Mark 14:53-65):
Mark also states that Jesus was first brought before Caiaphas the high priest.
The high priest and the Sanhedrin sought witnesses to testify against Jesus.
Jesus is then condemned for blasphemy.

Gospel of Luke (Luke 22:54-71):
Luke's account also begins with Jesus being brought before Caiaphas.
It includes Peter's denial of Jesus and the subsequent events.

You said I lied and I brought out the verse!

When a writer explicitly states that Jesus was taken to A before C and others said he was taken to C without mentioning A.

If only the former book was available to a set of people and the other books available to another set of people do you think they'll have the same story?

Anyways you're Kobo as usual!
