Haha, and a bit of a nuisance as well because they are limited to 60 miles per hour. So you'll just be chugging along behind them.

Tractor nko? Those ones are worse. Yesterday, we got stuck behind a tractor carrying another tractor. grin
cheesy
Add horses too.
If work carry you to those yonder with one track road, then a tractor is before you, just turn back and follow another route. cheesy
If there is no other road, just switch off and sleep cheesy
One day, we practically had to wait one hr plus in one country side for a newly wedded riding on horse.
At a point, my head stopped the fake smile and told them to clear, we had an emergency to attend to.
It was colourful though.

Tour isle of Wight.
It's a known tourist destination.
An island on its own.
Schools book summer camp there yearly for year 6 especially for a reason.

Nice. What are the attractions?

Do they have farms in this area?
Yeah, lots of farm land with sheep, chickens and cows.

The brown dots you see are the chickens.

We are in place called Ambleside. The name of the lake is Grasmere, so you can go boating on the lake.

You can follow trails up the different mountains, a lot of hotels have Spa's.

There is also the Beatrice Potter Museum ( Author of Peter Rabbit) in Windermere. Loads of Cafes, restaurants, bars etc. But I think this is a place you come to appreciate the natural beauty, get away from hustle bustle and just unwind.

I've done this trip several times but we intend to drive without stops except we need comfort breaks.

So snacks at the ready.

Home made sandwiches
Fruits
Water
Sausage Rolls
Rice Cakes
Olives
Crisps
Lucozade

Nigerians don’t play with snacks!

Especially when you have kids you can’t take enough snacks tbh, unless you don’t want peace of mind.

I have offered to drive just to get it on record that I offered, knowing fully well he will say no.😁

If he had yes, my eyes would have immediately started paining me.🤧🤧

UK is small and populated they say but see greens everywhere 😀

That is right wing propaganda.

Statistics show that only 2% of the U.K is built on.

Visit Windermere lake if you can. That should be England's largest lake. Snap and snap for future references grin

A child will not automatically become a citizen cos the child was born in the uk.

Is it the beautiful scenery or the great picture taking skill, everything is looking so heavenly beautiful. Can't get enough of this.🤭

But make we no lie, these places have left us far behind, catch up is not even likely to happen in the next 50years.😏

What has this got to do with a Nigerian forum. How many people reading this can make this drive. Go to a u.k forum to post this. It's got nothing to do with Nigeria.

It's in the travel section. Threads like this don't normally make it to front page. It's for the folks that love and can afford to travel. No matter how small, they are represented on Nairaland.
