On one occasion, we were six christians in a room. 4 of us choir members had just returned from a powerful church service at night (10 pm), when armed robbers entered into the room with torches, guns and machetes and switched off the lights.

But by the time they left they had robbed everyone in the room of cash and some valuables except me.

Not that they had missed me though because the same guy that went and flashed torch on the face of each one of the others also came to me and flashed torch in my face, but the only difference is that intead of standing me up to take him to my things as he did to all the others, he immediately walked back (as if he had seen a ghost) to where the other two stood to my astonishment.

He was even asked, by one of them (I suppose their leader) "what about that guy?" after he went back just incase he made a mistake. I sincerely wished I heard what he said though because it would have significantly helped resolve some yet unanswered questions, but sadly I didn't because his voice was too low.

However what the guy said seemed to suffice for them, as immediately afterwards they started hitting the middle of our butts, I suppose, with the back of their machete (because it barely hurt us even though most of us wore jeans) before they left.

They didn't leave me out of that one though as I had a little sore on my butt as a result, I think it was the same for the others.

Thank God though no life was lost in the process because it could have been much worse.

Bros I have been in the front.... I hate disclosing this part of life to random people I don't know.... But I am doing this to let you know, God doesn't guide anyone to kill..... My survival and encounter is now the testimony I use to preach to others.... There was a kanuri Christian village in borno.... It was within the radius assigned to my team for fierce defense...... We were flanked and drawn out, thinking the village was gone on our return.... Behold the bishop was seated laughing.... His account was a sign from God.... He said 5 bandits that came to clear the place where confused, they were hearing tanks and APCs coming towards their direction.... All this was happening while he was declaring the scriptures in their face ..... They ran off with their bikes in great panic

Okay. Forget about using Sambisa for the experiment. Just go to where a bank is being robbed and command the robbers to stop. If thieves fear you, the robbers will obey your command.

Just like when Jesus told Satan you shouldn't tempt your God... Just because he knows God will send his angles to carry him and prevent him from striking his foot

Trying to use God's power in you to save lives during a bank robbery is not tempting God. Also what you narrated that happened in the North can happen to even people who do not believe in God. In fact, many people who do not believe in God and the many Muslims have encountered such a thing. So what you experienced in the North is not unique to Christians and cannot be used to prove your point.

You turning it into a blanket statement.... and trying to take it out of context......Every experience encountered is personal.... Do the Muslim have theirs Maybe they do..... In 1991 the northern youths, numbering about 8,000 dared Bonnke to come to Kano to carry out crusade after he planned to and even some christians residing in kano that tried to even show support for his crusade were beaten black and blue with some getting badly injured. Bonnke got so scared he cancelled the crusade and later when he came back to Nigeria in the 2000s he carried out crusades only in the southern side of Nigeria and avoided the North totally. Is it that coward Bonnke or is there another one? If it's the same Bonnke is that one that is scared of irate youths that the devil was scared of?
Only lesson I can take from this is that 8,000 irate youths are more powerful than the devil himself

No part of my comments presents me as an atheist. I simply want you to know that armed robbers will not fear you because you are in Christ. Any armed robber that fears someone in Christ will fear someone that is not in Christ. Any armed robber that does not fear someone outside Christ will not fear you because you are in Christ. Christ can save you from armed robbers, whether you are in Christ or not. Christ will not save you from armed robbers because you are in him and abandon someone else in the face of robbery because the person is not in him. The saving power of Christ is not for only those who are in Christ. As a matter of fact, Christ didn't come for those who are in him but for sinners. That's just my point.

A bus of one chance brought in many of their victims into a compound. They picked one person at a time to kill. They were probably ritualists or organ harvesters.

They kept skipping a particular lady, this lady managed to hide her phone and was able to send sms to her father who was a pastor and her father started praying.

Whenever it reached when they will pick the woman, they skipped her. Later, they told the woman that a prayer is disturbing their work. They made arrangement and dropped the woman in a location where she can fine her way home.
