SoNature:
The true test of leadership in the 21st Century is the ability to grow the economy - SoNature, 2024

Anybody can build infrastructure. In fact, building infrastructure is the easiest way politicians loot the commonwealth of the country, but it takes a leader with exceptional leadership qualities to grow the economy. Tinubu, without a doubt, has been horrible in this aspect.
Can u see how disjointed you flow of thoughts is? Can economy just grow over night ? I'm not surprised, what do u expect from people that believe in packed fraud! The first step to economic development is human and infrastructural developments. Stop dropping sentimental comments it shows how shallow u think. Go and ask lagosians in the last 15 years, it was as harsh like this because they were at the building phase , free trade zones were being developed, ports modified, clear road map for infractural development that are springing up today. Now they are reaping the rewards, if u don't know Lagos is one of the states where u have consultants working in general hospitals, secondary hospital operating at the level of tertiary ones. Its economy alone can swallow like 5 other states and still growing , courtesy of a futuristic leader. They shouted then too ,what I like about BAT is " if u like cry blood ,he won't derail from his plans to rescue the country. Enough of palliating a failing country and packing it to give superficial values. This is our real worth now and we must all endure to grow it to the kind of country we desire. Any leader that says other wise is a failure from the start because he will still package a failed nation and pass it on to the other generation untill the elastic limit is reached.
If u know how much Nigeria is owing chaina and other countries, that we need to be servicing debt with almost all the generated revenue! They have to be paying back with crude oil. That is to tell you how bad it has gone. The best man for the job is who we have now . Allocation to the state have increased, minimum wage will soon be increased, more cash in circulation, infractural development, come to Abuja , Nasarawa,Jos etc , it is just a matter of time all these will cumulate into economic growth like Lagos is experiencing today.

A failure will remain a failure. Peter Obi track records is there for all to see. Need I remind you that Peter Obi has become what he should be in life. Here you are calling a man who is made for life and will feed all your generation down to 3rd generation till he die, and employer of labours both home and international, and you are calling him jobless. Even Tinubu will be laughing at your comments.

Common sense is common, poor Agbado like you who is not sure of his next meal

Can u please itemize those records pls?

Noone can feed anyone for generation if he or she has not don that for the world to see. A rich man can be so poor again in life if God wanted that. Arthur Nzeribe was Richer than Obi x2 , where is he and his money today? Can he still feed his own generation talk less of another person.
Wat are you saying. Nzeribe children are rich.

Acknowledging the importance of infrastructure development doesn't mean one should ignore the economic mismanagement that has plagued our nation. You missed the point of that post entirely. It's a false dichotomy to imply that one must choose between infrastructure growth and economic development. A true leader would work towards both, not prioritize one at the expense of the other. I really don't think SoNature's critique of Tinubu's economic leadership was sentimental. He was basing it on verifiable data and economic indicators. Nigeria's economy has struggled under Tinubu's leadership, with rising poverty, inflation, and unemployment rates. These aren't mere sentiments; they're harsh realities. Have you stopped to consider that Tinubu's economic policies might be exacerbating the problem?

The argument that "allocation to the state has increased, minimum wage will soon be increased, more cash in circulation" is flawed. These measures might provide temporary relief but don't address the underlying structural issues hindering economic growth. In fact, they might fuel inflation and dependency on government handouts.

I think it's high time we moved beyond this "packaging a failed nation" mentality that is allowing dishonest politicians to pull the wool over the eyes of the people, and strive for genuine and inclusive growth.
