A friend advised me to post most of my items (cars) on Jiji , but on getting to the platform, I was informed that it’s now based on subscription contrary to what i heard years back

What this means is that you must subscribe to Jiji in order to sell there

My challenge is not entirely on the cost of subscription but to know if it actually worth

anyone who actually has his business on Jiji or has sold/selling on Jiji should advice me please

Paying for top spots in jiji is a complete waste of time because of how their algorithm works. People who are not even boosting their listings might get more view than you. Essentially all ads are shown but they try to make money by making some users pay for some imaginary 'sweet spots' if very few people are paying for it, then it doesn't matter since free ads will get shown alongside those paid ads too when relevant queries are made.

Experience it for yourself but have the above in mind and hope you got the patience to deal with wierd people who enjoy creating troubles and dramas from nothing and yet won't do business with you.

And don't even bother about all that levels of payments: take this from someone who tried the highest: Enterprise down to the least.
