Check your dipstick, the correct oil is written on it. Same with the power steering too, check the reservoir cap

I scanned my car (Toyota Camry 2007 V6) and got code P0420, P0430, P0328 and C1201.

While accelerating, the rpm shoots up and comes down then before the car starts accelerating freely. I guess it happens between gear 1 and 2

Hello bosses. Please my Toyota Camry 08 v6 idles very high at around 2000. It goes back to 1000 whenever i get engage gear. Took it to a mechanic in Auchi and he said my throttle body is faulty, don't know if I get the name right (the thing be like a cylinder like this with a butterfly -like metal inside it) He said I need to change it which I did immediately as i would be travelling to Kaduna the next day. Took the vehicle to Kaduna the next day and I noticed the problem is still there. Last week, I took the vehicle to a new mechanic in panteka, Kaduna,he scanned the car and still complained about the throttle body. This time around,it will stay at 1000 at idle but will suddenly move up to like 2000 after a minute or so. He said I'll have to change it again. I was so concerned when he started to rub one thing like paint inside the throttle Body say it will not allow it to raised suddenly again. I'm not so comfortable with that approach Please I need your advice

I ride a 2003 Honda civic I noticed that at 100KM/H my RPM is hovering around 3000.
I get around 2500RPM at 80km/h.

My former corolla is 2200 RPM at 100km/h.

Also my car doesn't seem to have O2 sensors.
It's not like it is absent, the exhaust doesn't seem to have a place for it.

Is the RPM normal for my car?
And should I be worried about the lack of O2 sensors?

There's nothing wrong with your car, I get around 3,100rpm at 100km still my fuel consumption is still excellent. I thought it was an issue then, till i read in a forum were people who use similar car complain the same. Is yours manual?

Mine is Japanese spec too, guess the are built that way. A friends own the Canadian spec and rpm is 2,500 at 62mph. And also the don't come with 02 sensors and catalyst, so your car is perfectly normal.
