Eunoiaa:
Exactly.

I don't want to think the quality will be shitty; I believe it'll be worth the price. And it looks like a brand [luxury] name, meant to cater to the egos of "vain" people (like me for instance grin).
lol. The "vain people like me " got me ROTFL. Enjoy jare babe. Afterall, everything na Vanity upon Vanity. Life is too short to be managing Agege bread when you have the resources to buy quality 20k bread at least once in a while grin
Re: Can You Buy This 20k Bread In This Present Economy? by HarbySloy(m): 9:09pm On May 27, 2024
Buying it isn't the problem, just know what you will use to eat it shouldn't be less than 10k

If we were a couple, I'm most certainly sure we'll be having different meal plans for every days of the week and we'll be attending a joint therapy session for your "no sweet tooth red flag". 🤣🤣🤣

It's not about poverty, it's about logical reasoning, 20k for just a Loaf of bread. What's so special about the bread oga.

Re: Can You Buy This 20k Bread In This Present Economy? by Atolu01: 9:34pm On May 27, 2024
I can buy it maybe once to see if the taste is worth the price. And to know I have sha bought/ eaten/ tasted it before. Life is meant to be richly; all pun intended, experienced and it's not like the Bread is a bad thing. If I like it/ can keep indulging (there are several other things to indulge in i.e 'care products), I may keep putting it in my budget. Or not.

Mai dear.

The matter tire you abi? 😂😂😂😂

My taste bud is VERY UNIQUE. I don't know why.

I like Caprisun but hate Fanta and Coke.
I like unripe mango and pawpaw but hate ripe ones.
I like Cake but not much fan of ice cream.
I don't like yoghurt, Hollandia or local fura.

Epp me! grin grin

Oga. Try and travel out.

When you do- you will discover that poor and middle class people are permitted to enter stores where a handbag sells for $20,000.

Or a shoe sells for £5,000

Just try and travel out so that you will stop supporting nonsense

nedekid:
See, some products are flown into the country daily and supplied to high end exclusive supermarkets, restaurants, personal orders. Do you know, cheese, ice cream, salad, salmon, ham, bacon, already prepared meals from high end restaurants in eg France, pizza made to order from Italy delivered to people here in naija?
This bread could have baked in France in the morning then flown to naija and on the shelf that evening.
I know all this because I have been approached few years ago by some Lebanese to arrange logistics for such cargo. I have even delivered some to some exclusive white only estate somewhere at eleko.
Na such supermarkets, when they make it private, Nigerians will come out to shout foreigners are stopping them from entering. When you enter and see what you cannot afford nko? Na to de take picture come de post online.

I love Brioche bread. It makes the best French toast. so for some people they can’t buy another type of bread except this whenever they need to make French toast

However it’s just a different type of bread. The Nigerian bakers need to go to YouTube university and learn how to make it. No reason why it should cost significantly more than other types of bread when they all take similar time and effort to make
Pure water was a LUXURY item when it debuted in 1990. I am actually suprised the bread has not been bastardized yet

all it takes is one savvy baker to look it up on YouTube and start making and selling it. I hope they jump on its since it’s still a “luxury” for now.

It’s great for French toast. The egg wash adds a nice balance that tones down the sweetness

And artesano brand is the best one among all of them IMO. If you find it, try that brand first before you completely give up on brioche

I agree. Agege bread is simply the best bread that can be eaten by itself.
Every bread I’ve tried needed something to make it complete
So you're saying that the ordinary Agege bread is more healthy compared to other types of bread?

Genuinely asking though.
