My Vivo V23 5G was snatched while siting in front passenger seat of Romchi bus at Onitsha express 7:30pm, our bus just left the park trying to connect to the main express....
A huge guy came from behind and snatched my phone from my ears cuz i was on call...
he gave a dangerous slap which i dodged and he slapped the seat instead...
I shouted sorry sir thinking it was a military check point may be na Army....
But my mind struck to something as the guy went behind our bus and started maneuver run amongst cars on the high way that this is ONITSHA OOO, my phone is about to otilor with my Opay ATM card at the back of my phone and 150k just sent to me to the opay from iphone 8+ that was sold from my phone shop as i no dey.....

I didnot not even remember bus has door again... i jumped through the window from the moving bus and gave the guy a hot chase......
He crossed the 4 lane busy express, maneuver between fast moving cars and keke....
i didnot raise alarm lest his gang members will come out to block me for him to escape, learn this today, dont raise alarm if you are not close enough to catch or point at the thief very clearly and directly, i chased after him silently and with better speed....
when he thought he was now good , he turned back to see me running after him and drawing closer ...
He took to his heels again but this time ,i have already gatherd enough momentum and my relative speed was faster than his that is just accelerating fresh, that was wen i shouted "Thief thief"..

Noticing this, the idiot turned and threw my phone at the middle of the express to shatter to pieces.....

I stopped and picked up my phone... checked it and nothing actually got damaged only the screenguard cracked.

I HEAVED AND SHOUTED AFTER HIM, YOU RE A LEARNER....

The thief got lucky, too. If he had done that somewhere else, he would have been ROASTED like corn by now.

Most of them in Europe and other continents are into crime.When I dey work for computer village na so this 2 IBO guys wey return from yanky bring some brand new Samsung and other quality android phones wey just come out newly to our shop to unlock the password.Those phone models no dey Naija then.

Op you tried, you must be very athletic to have given the thief a hot chase. That's another reason one has to be physically fit all the time. I already learned that one should never hold phone to receive call or just be pressing it in tricycle or when sitting close to window in a bus or car.

This is common in Onitsha. Someone's Phone was also snatched with this format yesterday in my presence. Around that main market area. One has to be extremely careful in Onitsha.

Them dey thief full human being there, not to talk of phones.

Na fear make Anambra People dey mind themselves, whenever someone is getting robbed in public. They will rob and maltreat innocent people in that state and everyone will just walk freely, minding their business like nothing is happening.
