ASUU always going on strike. I spent two years at home during Obasanjo Era due to ASUU strike. My 4 year course turned to 6 years.

Interestingly, it was a blessing in disguise. When I applied for Canadian PR not long after graduation, there was no WES back then. The Canadian immigration officials just counted my 4 years course as 6 years, and I was given lots of points for education that pushed me over the immigration cut-off mark of 67.

Boss, how is Canada right now? For those getting PR through express entry right now, what are the prospects of doing well? I'm asking because many people and videos are online hammering that job no longer dey Canada, say na suffer head plenty now, is it true? Or can one have it soft with express entry (though I don't mean immediately)?

ASUU have no integrity anymore, bunch of corrupt so called professors who put us in the mess we are today in Nigeria.
Plenty have already collected their retirement benefits from politicians while others are warming up to collect their own in 2027.

Bulaba government doesn't have their time.

I only pity Nigerian students.

Overseas people use their school research to solve industry problems.
Then manufacture the whatever thing use and sell.
NIgeria will import that their gadget.
Our own research is not used for anything.
Just write report and dump in the school.

Do we have a conducive environment to conduct research. All the elements of breakthrough research isn't available here . It goes beyond writing papers and getting it published.

What is with ASUU self, are they not part of the ongoing NLC-government minimum wage negotiation.Won't they be affected if finally an agreement is reached? If yes is the answer,then they show throw their weight behind NLC, and stop derailing the academic wheel
