So finally, I found a job, a job of 100k salary after ten years of unemployment/underemployment. However, I still have that feeling that perhaps it is not enough. I mean, I should have negotiated higher salary for a quality control officer.

Do you think I am still underemployed? Or am I just being greedy?

stop being ungrateful...whether enough or not, the fact that you now have a job that brings a decent income is a step forward, and a blessing.

Just start with what you have now and be greatful. Your wasted years are for better stories ahead of you kos I know a man that suffered for more than ten years and he later got an FG job and today he's a multimillionaire. There's a reason for your delay, so start humbly and wait for great things to begin to happen.

10 years thou. Its long. But for a starter like you it's OK. Learn and build yourself up the ladder. Some of started with lesser figures, and climbed the ladder..

I am happy for you. What you need is to understand there is space for promotion and other benefits apart from salary.

No, you are not being greedy. 100k in indeed small in current Nigeria, but if you wanted more, you would have done more in a decade. If you learned drycleaning 10yrs ago, maybe you will be earning more than 100k monthly in 2024. Sadly you want a career in corporate Nigeria and they have given you their starting salary. Please manage it.

Don't accept the job and continue your search, you deserve at least 500k per month and if after 10 more years you don't get that just increase your demand to 1M. They most give you what you want.
