Happy new week famz,

So this morning I woke up to this debt alert of 2100 naira for sms charges. I have never experienced such or seen anyone close to me experience it.

I want to know if it's a new policy implemented before I go to bank to cause a ruckus.

But I believe no matter the worth of an individual, this is way too much for charges.

They didn't charge you for several months.. They charged you once..

yes, I have been transacting a lot in the past weeks but same as I have been doing with my other accts but I haven't received same debit from other banks

Sms alerts costs 4 naira. It is an old policy.

Outstanding is shown on the description. The 2,100 naira is for 525 sms alerts you have received previously.

Note that SMS alerts are optional. If you don't want them, you can go to your bank and opt out from it. Email alerts are free of charge.

Some banks are turning to something else, dem even debit you add pos charge join am , dis one na corporate yahoo yahoo.. report to dem customer care first.

Oga you're lucky you got alert with descriptions. Other banks takes, thief's and deduct any amount they like without even a single notification or trace of the transition. They'll just wipe it. Very fraudulent entities

GT bank billed me #1000+ for same sms charge.

Don't sweat it.

It's an accumulated sms charges over the months.

I was also charged N1600 by my bank for accumulated sms charges last month.

Something keeps telling me that banks and churches are currently conniving with our politicians to deepen the poverty in the land by having them steal from Nigerians.

GTB charge me today but not as much, beginning of the year they so charge maintenance fees.

Zenith bank win deduct my money tire.worst part is most time u dnt receive alert on such deductions. It's when u go to bank to complain that one werey will show u screen nd start capping shit
