Above is osimenh and below is vlahovic

I’m not in this debate but speak the whole truth don’t paint one in a good light and the other bad

Be fair or stay quiet like me
What am I painting?

All I see is two players who have injury issues

Please can someone explain to me why Ajayi, Iwobi, Bassey, Onuachu, Onyeka, Osayi, and Okoye are yet in camp?
Onuachu that has no business being in that team is supposed to be the first person to report to camp.

Just cos he is Brazilian! He is just a normal talent with pace to burn! Nothing else! George Ilenikhena better!
charlesemeka85:

George is one player that we shouldn’t miss

That boy will become a big star in few years to come. Inter Milan wants him badly

U fit dey play tiki taka for two decades and u no go get their kind luck.

TheGoodJoe:
How are they so lucky? Reminds me of three seasons ago where they scored two late goals against us (Man City). They were clearly not the better side.

Las Las, their Babalawo knows work. 😂

You are wrong about Endrick. Time will prove so.

But on Paez and Estevao to Chelsea, yes, I am sceptical. I expected both lads to choose different destinations. But I think Paez can grow into that EPL player. He has the Mentality, talent and expected physical maturity on his side.

Esheverri is not much a passer just yet as he is a creative and instinctive ball carrier and chances creator. I am excited to see how he turns out.

Marjoribanks:
Endrick is average tbh! And I do not see Estevao and Paez as a good fit for Chelsea or EPL! Also, Escheverri may not be a fit to Pep's one way robotic style! Just my observation!

Is coach Finidi leaving the responsibility of winning entirely on his players?

I have not a reason to doubt Finidi until his recent statements that purports as follows: formation is not important and Players interpret when to attack and defend

You may fail to grasp the overall import of what he is saying until you read again to discern the connection between the two ideas expressed.

Coming on with a good formation is entirely the job of the coach. Formation is basic to good play and to winning. The coach decides the right setup of players

The decision to attack and to defend is also on the coach, the coach instructs his players the various situation that should lead to an attacking or a defensive stance and the strategies to involve.

Football is team sports, it is collective effort, being a collective effort requires collective actions which the coach directs, else the team is disoriented.

To conclude my thoughts on Finidi statements regarding how unimportant formations are to winning, and players making the decision as when to attack or defend, reveals an intent on doing very little work, leaving his duties entirely on the players to craft out their own means of delivering results.

I agree, this season there were games you can see that a proper CF was all Arsenal needed but I think Arteta/Edu don’t really see a star CF as priority
Really depends on what you mean by a proper CF.

Liverpool have had dominance without a quintessential center forward.

Messi and Ronaldo are not quintessential CF's.

Arsenal play is about interchange and fluidity nothing is so rigid. This is why their goals come from several different players.

Why am I feeling off about Finidi? Under his charge many of our key players are still not around and we are preparing to face South Africa on Friday.

He may not be an orator, but i join you to say i feel off about him. I can't place it. Is it the PR or the fact that it doesn't ooze the necessary confidence we ought to be seeing by now? Calculators are dusty o. We don't play to use them anytime soon.

Why do you think players who work under good coaches become good coaches themselves?

Because the coach instills the knowledge into them.

Even as it stands now, I can point out that Rodri, Stones, Gundogan, De Bruyne will make fine coaches. Why? Understanding.

Now to the point at hand, Finidi is not going to instruct every move. No coach does that. What coaches do is to make the players understand the tactics and play to it.

What happens when two coaches get their formation setup right? What decides who wins and who loses?

Actually, Finidi's statement raised my respect for him as a tactician.

If you are playing four at the back, knowing when to attack and defend will help the player not put the team under pressure.

What´s important is not the formation, the most important is how we live it; how everybody respects the principles. How we attack, how we defend, in the formation that we play. And this is much more important than the formation. We can be strong in any formation.” — Thomas Tuchel

GBAM! Osimhen’s biggest weakness right now is his injury record. If he was fit for 30-32 league games this season I’m sure he’d have been challenging Martinez for golden boot again.

I do think his absence in this round of WCQ matches might be a slight blessing in disguise as it might mean Boniface will play as a 9. It’s something I’ve wanted to see for a while and the chance is here.
I just read from owngoal, that Findi is mulling over the possibility of dropping Lookman to the bench against South Africa.

I love his 3-5-2 for the game. But I must say this, Lookman will be crucial to our world cup qualification.

In the AFCON he scored 3 goals in the knock out stages to get us to the final. He scored a hat-trick in the finals of the Europa league. He also scored and assisted in the first-half of their game yesterday against Fiorentina.

He is in hot form and should not be dropped to the bench by any tactician.

I recall Keshi blessed memory was having issues with Osaze Odemwingie prior to 2014 WC.It took a massive outcry from fans for him to be included in the WC squad.Same Osaze qualified us for round 16 with his goal against Bosnia, slotting one past Asmir Begovic his former GK.

Please our local coaches should learn to manage the egos of the high profile players in our team. This was also Sunday Oliseh's undoing. He benched Mikel for Paul Onobi, dropped Enyeama for Carl Ikeme.

We need to make our local coaches understand that good man management is pivotal to having a successful career as a coach.

Prophecy or no Prophecy, super eagles is in a very bad shape to play these matches

with the absence of Osimhen, Aina and Ekon,
I don't think Finidi is fully aware how shapeless his team will look, and he was busy inviting uncapped players, NPFL and a player from Tanzanian league.

Keshi was part of the USA '94,was he clueless, so was Siasia, didn’t they played good football with the teams they've handled?

if u have problem with some of them,do not generalize it.
Have u confirmed from Finidi that he is planning to bench Lookman?

If Finidi decides to bench Lookman, it will only be based purely on football matters nothing else
