Hardship In Nigeria: This Rights Activist Is Missing (pix) by Melagros(op):
COMRADES, during the tenures of the last administrations, especially that of Goodluck Ebele Jonathan. Whenever this Human Rights Activist released a statement, I must consult lexicographers for interpretation, what Nigerians were passing through then can never be compered in any way to the suffering that the government of the today has brought upon Nigerians but the self-acclaim right activist is no where to be found, he sips a cup of tea in his house everyday and says in his heart; let the hardship continues

Earlier this year, he promised that he will release statements when the current administration clocks one year in office, is the administration not up to a year now? Is it because Tinubu is a fellow yoruba that is why he is mute?
The only Human Rights Activists of Yoruba origin that the whole world acknowledges are:
The Ransome Kuti family
Gani Fawehimi
The Falanas and
Pa Ayo Adebanjo
As for Wole Soyinka, anyone who regards him as an Activist, you are joker

GEJ used up the 21 billion naira Obasanjo saved.

GEJ earned the highest ever revenue from crude oil sales.

GEJ changed the taste and preferences of the Nigerian elite to IPhones, Mercedes Benz and private jets.

GEJ was a waster.

All GEJ had to do to sustain Nigeria’s economy was to save money in Nigeria’s excess crude account at a similar rate to Obasanjo and all the current suffering will never have happened.

GEJ created this crisis by promoting an unsustainable growth through extreme government spending.

To fix GEJ’s damage, Buhari needed to fire Government workers and/or raise taxes specifically targeted at the rich. He failed to do this and borrowed money and pushed the problem to Tinubu.

Tinubu needed to fire workers, raise taxes on the rich and remove subsidies to save the naira from collapsing. Tinubu only removed subsidies, so the naira has collapsed.

This is how Nigeria got into this mess.

u only want an aspect of the problem to be discussed not the origin.
How much was our external savings before Jonathan and how much did he handover. As much as APC is to be blame for reckless policies if I may say , we need to blame the origin too.If 40+ billion dollars was handed over to you and you are handing over 20+ billion to another govt, definitely something went wrong nah despite our huge oil earning.I like the problem to be discussed holistically so that solution will be sought after.

Do you want me to lie to you? I am just telling you as it is. Some of us predicted this mess as far back as 2012 and gave solutions but no one listened.

we don't need the origin of d problem anymore. Tinubu knows d problem before he became president...if he becoming president is to remind us what Jonathan did in 2012 or so, then he's no fit for a president. Y need vibrant young chaps like Obi who's so stingy but will get u d work done.

You're deceiving yourself!

GEJ left about 35 billion for Buhari. When Obj and Yaradua saved, crude prices were lower than Buhari and Tinubu yet they could not even generate, how much more of saving.

While from Obj to GEJ, we were doing 2.4 million barrels per day, Buhari and Tinubu were doing 1million barrels per day so you see where the problem lies? Stealing of crude oil in Buhari and Tinubu regimes

Show proof that 20+ billion only was handed over to APC. Secondly, how much is $20 billion? So APC cannot generate $20 billion in 9yrs?
