Banks didn't open yesterday and today. I hope they will still accept bids tomorrow

Update: unfortunately those moraffkers at GT no gree. Deadline for submission was yesterday, they said. But when I told them their gates were shut due to the strike, they simply said it wasn't their fault. Sigh

Check what's available on the secondary market. The difference is hardly worth the 2 week wait.

It was successful. Those that bidded on or below the stop rate will be settled tomorrow.

What he posted was just the rates for those whose bids were successful. To know if your bank was successful you may need to contact them.

I saw this too. I pray there should be, because I missed out on this week's NTB because of strike. Stanbic didn't open here last Monday. I guess there will be another auction next week.

Hmm. This is from CBN website? That means there will be no issue in the usual 2 weeks interval ie week of 20th??

You can always check the secondary market.

This was what a nairalander got. 19.5-20 isn't so difficult these days.

Hello Emma

Please why do you rep this Norrenbergee?
Do let me know.

You mentioned it alongside SFs.

emmasoft:
@Grupo this is what happened, the mutual fund business of investment one was sold to GTBank when they were to attain the HoldCo structure. Investment One is no longer in the mutual funds business. Your investment is not lost. It's with GTFund managers. Unfortunately, their portal has been down for a long time now. You can only know what you have in your account by sending mail to their customer care requesting your account statement.

You can look the way of Norrenberger if you want to patronize more fund managers. The form is attached.

I want to invest in treasury bills but need both interest and principal to drop at maturity. Is this possible with stanbic ibtc?

@ceelog I Rep them because I was recommended and I did my due diligence to see if they met my criteria for such representation. They are SEC-regulated and their products are SEC-registered
Norrenberger is doing well and has been around for the past 5 years but was concentrating on corporate clients, now they wish to build their retail customer base. They are in a group - they own IEI, pension, microfinance bank, stockbroking, and asset management. They also own 60% of Infrastructure Bank.

You can open an account with them for MMF, Dollar fund etc. The account opening form is attached to this post

You can do that. While filling the form, just click on rollover interest till maturity. Or ask the person attending to you for direction incase the form doesn't have the rollover interest box. Very simple.

Thank you. At the bank the form I was given doesn't have rollover but face value. I increased the face value up to the amount of principal and interest(I specified the rate). But the person attending to me rejected it based on the face value being higher than my account balance.

***It was successful. I later got to know she made her findings and did her job.***

Seem the peak is at hand, wouldn't be surprised to see yield of 3rd and 4th quarter trending down. Keep eyes peeled.

The yield on 1 year OMO bills auctions held yesterday was 28.55%. I don't think we have seen TBills peak yet

The minimum wage increase is bound to increase inflationary pressure, which might make investors seek higher interest rates.
