‘Things Are Tough But Hang On’ – Fani-kayode To Nigerians by Kuginzi(op): 8:53pm On Jun 06, 2024
A chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, Femi Fani-Kayode, has urged Nigerians to remain steadfast in their prayers and have faith in God, saying things are currently tough.

The former Aviation Minister, who gave the advice in a post on his official social media handle on Thursday, also urged citizens to keep believing in the President Bola Tinubu-led administration.

He expressed optimism that the policies of the Federal Government that landed Nigerians in hardship would yield positive results.

"Things are tough but I urge Nigerians to hang in there and continue to have faith in God and in our Government who in my view are trying their best in the circumstances.

“We have chosen a difficult, challenging yet necessary path to economic recovery and despite the undoubted pain that we are ALL experiencing we must stay the course, swallow the bitter pill, make the necessary sacrifices and see our journey to the expected end in order to establish a better tomorrow for our children and loved ones,” he said.

The APC chieftain called on Nigerians to jettison their political differences and assist the government in succeeding in its economic recovery moves.

"This is not the time to play party politics or to blame one another but rather to encourage each other, join hands, assist the government, have faith in God and move the country forward together.

“The Lord never told us that it would be easy but be rest assured of one thing: He didn’t bring us this far to leave us,” he added.

The hunger in Nigeria is three much!

2 days ago, a man walked into my shop and pleaded with me to help him with something to eat. I stopped pressing my phone and gave him attention to hear what he was saying.

He continued that he was very hungry and that garri or anything would go a long way (unknown to him, even garri now is for the rich class) , of course I looked at him closely and discovered he was shaking due to serious hunger.

I immediately told him to go and meet the woman that sells food in front of the complex building and eat any food he wants, that he should tell the woman I was the one that sent him. After eating the food and everything, he came back knelt down and started thanking me for saving his life with food. I refuse to accept human worship!

The hunger in this country is too much!!!

If I were you, I would have asked him who he voted for and if he mistakenly said that he voted for Tinubu, I will give him no penny of my hard earned money.
But hey to each his own.

My brother, APC is an evil party. They didn't know that though there was corruption when PDP was in power, they still made sure that the economy was left in capable and competent hands
Tinubu, Buhari and other APC propagandists fed enough because a bag of rice then was N7009.
That's why they had strength to deceive some Nigerians

Tinubu's administration maybe the worst in the history of this country.

It is well

Nigerians are currently suffering for the unjustified, unsustainable 'enjoyment' of yesteryears.

It's a debt that must be paid

If we don't pay it, our children will!

Hang on to what or for who, Oga?? Desperate times require desperate measures and Nigerians are desperately running out of options besides a bloodbath! Do not think an army of 200k will stop an uprising of 200 million people against a few, who arrogantly believe they can suppress the majority forever! It happened in Russia, it happened in France. It happened in Ghana, and at the rate lives are being wasted by your party’s mismanagement, it will happen here too! undecided

In all our years of bad leadership and governance we have never complained of hunger before, at least before when you complain of hunger they tell you to go and drink garri but right now garri drinking is reserved extremely for rich people.
I still remember clearly 2020/2021 a derica of beans was #150/200 but as at yesterday I bought it #1500 shocked.

This is really bad. sad
