I have a feeling that Finidi might start Onuachu against Benin just to spite his critics, based on his post match rants
That's his problem,
all I know is that if he loses on Monday,he will not finish the qualifiers as a coach

FIFA provides VAR for all the 2022 world cup qualifiers over 2 legs in second round not Ghana FA of NFF
villagereporter:
Let me remind you, when NRG played against GHA 2022 WCQ, the VAR was provided by Ghana FA and after the match Amugo pickdig said at the post match that NRG will also provide VAR for d return leg.

It was part of the logistics by the hosting FA which NFF failed to do.

That's the thing, buh you can't blame them for not seeing it, there are things, that's not giving them confidence, 3point from a possible 9, is hard to inspire confidence

Is he starting them?
Will he even invite them if they played in a less competitive league?

Mainoo and Palmer (before Chelsea) have never played for the three lions before and Southgate is fielding them

Me calling Amugo pickdig as it changed anything from his life, is he not well known all over d world, while I was only known by my family, so why the press?

Every public office holder is subject to name calling and sometimes public ridicules. So why the press.

Finidi should be humble enough to accept that he got it wrong wirh Onuachu starting, and give Moffi or Boniface the nod against Benin.

Onuachu had a good game for someone without service. If he had missed opportunities like the one Moffi did I would understand the complaints
Onuachu should start in the next match. It's not like he missed any clear chance. The half chance he headed to the hands of the SA goalkeeper. He was OK. Except the midfielders who came in to influence the game , I didn't see Moffi do much better.

Since Ndidi made his eagles debut, I can't pick one game where he was excellent for us.
Then you're blind to his performance.

Boniface nko,is he not fit enough? or do u think Onuacho is better?

I would like to know.

My top 5 striker.

1. Osimhen
2. Awoniyi
3. Boniface
4. Elija Adebayo
5. Terem

Solanke and Samu Omoridion should be considered.

Solanke with 19 goals shocked shocked shocked

I agree. Onuachu was decent yesterday. He hustled, chased down balls and was a long ball outlet for us, winning fouls in the process.

I dare say for the first time. I was impressed by his athleticism and workrate. Still, he has been mostly unconvincing in the green-white-green.

If Finidi needs a Jan Koller-esque type of striker, why did he not invite Elijah Adebayo of Luton Town or Tolu Arokodare of Genk?

As for Terem Moffi, I do not rate him. I actually think Akor Adams is a superior striker and all round better player.

Finidi has not inspired confidence with his team invitation. Olisa Ndah who is arguably the best central defender in the PSL should have been invited. Ditto Igho Ogbu. Both are good ball playing defenders and ought to be in the mix.

I still dey take one eye look Finidi.

Problem with Nigerian coaches is, they like playing players out of position and they prefer physical point man (tall and big).

Messi, Aguero and short players will never make first team of a Nigerian coach. I have studied them enough. I may be wrong ooo.
