What ever you do, do NOT argue with an armed robber. I am alive today because in 2005 I obeyed and handed over my first camera phone to an armed robber. Since then I have gone on to use better phones. No material thing is worth your life.

Always avoid late night movements in Nigeria. Evil people always perpetuate their evils during the night. I have made it a habit that 7-8pm, I should be in my house.

I was also robbed in 2020 with a gun pointed at me in a broad day light during Christmas Eve. A day to Christmas of 2020. I just gave them the phone. A new phone for that matter. A phone I just bought. They were robbing a POS lady at the time when I just bumped into them.

The place was very isolated and quiet. A POS shouldn't be operating in such an isolated place. I didn't drag with them. I handed the morón the phone. They were two. One was operating with a gun, and the other guy was on standby in their car.

Immediately I got home, I logged into my iCloud account and locked the phone to become non usable for life. Even if they sell it, the person can't use it. I even wrote on it, stolen phone. If found call the nearest police station. Immediately they switch on the phone, that's the text that will show on the screen. I did all that remotely through my iCloud account.

Do all you want to do during the day time. Once it is getting dark, start rushing home. Don't stay out late or start gallivanting in the night looking for what is not lost. Remember, Nigeria is a jungle.
