I sacrifices for people, share my last with people, make myself uncomfortable for others, displease myself to please others, but at my darkest moments, when am down, i find no one willing to give a helping hand.
I have decided several times to stop being nice to people. But once am back on my feet i find myself being nice again, and when am down and find nobody giving a helping hand i start regretting again. It seems good people are meant to suffer alone. What do i do nairalanders i need advice. Happy Sunday!

OP, you have to learn to prioritize yourself.


In today's world, you have to learn not to give out shi shi

listen to these guys share how they dodge billing. especially the banker guy whose friends just started billing him because he just got an iphone.

if you do it because of your good heart, and because you know that this is right, then you wouldnt care about people not giving you when you are down.

Keep playing your own part making meaningful impacts in lives of those around you.. It has its own positive impact on your well-being. Just don't expect much from people and you'd be fine.

1. Don't give with the expectation of reciprocity. Give from the bounty of your heart, and for being a positive force in the world.
2. Your first responsibility is to yourself. Don't make anyone make you feel guilty for prioritizing yourself.
3. Being good is to be at peace with yourself, it is not because you want them to make you happy.
