Obigbo and Ohaji egbema in Rivers state should join Abia and IMO respectively.
Obi, Oju, and Ado Local Government Areas in Benue state should join Enugu
Ibaji in kogi should join Anambra state

At a time when everybody is crying "restructuring" without understanding that it should entail devolution of power from the centre and fiscal federalism, calling for creation of more states within the SE borders makes zero sense. The only way it makes sense is if you want to create the extra state so that the Federal government can give the SE more money. If true federalism is an objective, then given that most states in Nigeria are not economically viable, we should actually be merging states instead of creating more states. The truth is there is no good reason for the SE to get an extra state. We have the smallest regional population, and have by far the smallest landmass, and have by far the most ethnically homogenous region in the country. The agitation to create another SE state has never made any sense to me.

Orlu will have to take a back stage for a greater cause which Anioma represents.
Anioma reunification with SE has been on the front burner since 1939 when Bernard Burdillion the then British administrator of Nigeria divided the old Southern Protectorate into Western and Eastern region and ended up adding Western Igbo to Western region.
Western Igbo kings protested against this injustice and wrote Bernard Burdillion to return them to Eastern region with their kin and kiths, but the British didn't hearken to this call.
Since then the likes of Osadebey Dennis and other Western Igbo leaders have been working on this.
I'm glad Ned Nwoko has stepped up to take up the mantle of this noble and divine task (. ), Ndiigbo in SE must do our bit. We must do proper consultations with Ned Nwoko, get other voices in Anioma on the round table and make this dream a reality.

Orlu is expected to be carved out of Imo, which by all means is a small state.
Aside from nine local governments, Anioma is expected to cover Onitsha and Ogbaru communities, adding up the local governments. Even if additional areas are not added, Anioma already has the resources.
