Mr Dangote, i just want to let you know that anyone of you so called "elites" that might have been involved in any sort of corruption for personal gain, at the detriment of the Nigerian populace, the consequences of those things will definitely catch up with you and others like you in the future. Even if you all have passed on by then, your relatives and all those that might have inherited those proceeds of corruption will face the consequences.

One thing about corruption is that it has the tendency to consume itself. All you need are people that are willing to fight and have what it takes to fight the corrupt system, all that is left is to exploit the loopholes created by the system itself.
Poor people mentality. Always looking for who to blame. Did you elect Dangote to any political office? How's he responsible for your woes?

..ok and why can't the federal government sell out those government refineries that are not working to the private investor to buy it and operate and run it effectively..they normally say government has no business in bussiness ..the private sector is very good in running bussinesses and infrastructures

No, he hasn't. What this Caribbean entry simply means is that the EXCESS refined fuel and other petrochemical products of the Dangote Petrochemical Refinery will be sold abroad to earn FX after the Nigerian market's average daily to average monthly demands have been met. When Bua Petrochemical Refinery in Akwa Ibom State also starts, the same sequence of exporting refined petroleum products to earn FX after the local daily demand has been met would take place.

As it stands today, Algeria and Libya are the ONLY African countries that don't import fuel because they have working refineries that regularly undergo Turn Around Maintenance (TAM).

This is exactly what happened back in the 1970s to the late 1980s when all of Nigeria's Petrochemical Refineries worked optimally with regular TAM. Nigeria exported the excess refined crude oil products abroad to earn FX after the daily average fuel consumption had been met.

You can ALSO read this recent article below from Aliko Dangote indicating that there will be NO more importation of PMS from June, (although it has been shifted a few days ago to July 2024 because they have almost finished installing an advanced technological component that would ensure that optimum PMS is produced).

Hope that helps.
..they normally say government has no business in bussiness but the role of government is to provide a conducive environment for bussinesses companies industries to thrive..so why can't the federal government sell.out those government refineries that are moribund to the private investor to buy it and run it and operate it effectively.....the government refineries have been moribund for more than 20 years did to lack of maintenance and repairs...and the turn around maintenance money for the government refineries has been looted and embezzled by the government officials and politicians.its the private sector investor that can run bussinesses and refineries very well.

Indeed. That's the way things should be.

....in 2006 Obasanjo sold the port Harcourt refinery to Dangote and Dangote bought the port Harcourt refinery so that he can start rehabilitation repairs and upgrading of the port Harcourt refinery and start to operate it...but in ,2007, yaradua stop Dangote from using the port Harcourt refinery and reversed the sale of the refinery Dangote bought.. yaradua refunded Dangote the money he had already used to buy the refinery...and yaradua as the president at that time said the federal government .. yaradua as the president will do a turn around maintenance of the port Harcourt refinery ..but till now from then till now the federal government could not do a turn around maintenance of the port Harcourt refinery.. money for the turn around maintenance of the refinery has been looted and embezzled by the government and politcians.. Tinubu till now is still trying to make the port Harcourt refinery to work till now cannot work.. Tinubu said the port Harcourt refinery will start by December 2023 till now it has not started..so Dangote by now would had been producing fuel disel kerosene and other petroleum products in port Harcourt refinery.. if yaradua did not stop Dangote from operating and using the port Harcourt refinery in 2007
