You must pay $300 as an asylum program fee. It is mandatory. The information in this screenshot was adapted from the USCIS website by my attorney when I asked about it sometime in April.

Thank you for the information.

I don't know why they didn't mention anything on the fee when the return my friend's petition then.

DoubleNn:
Since April 1, the $300 has become part of the EB2 NIW fees. Apparently, petitioners that are not employers are also considered to be under those who employ 0-25.

So you have to select NO to question 5 (the non profit question) and YES to question 6 (the question about being an employer that employs 0-25)

Until you do this, and add the $300 as a seperate fee, they'll keep returning the petition.

As wild as it sounds, it's what it is.

Hi everyone. this is such a great thread and lots to learn from. After going through, I noticed that the majority of people who are applying have PHDs or using the advanced degree route for eb2 niw. Is there any one who has successfully done the exceptional ability in arts route? If yes can you please shed more light on evidence submitted? thank you.

In my opinion, EB2-NIW is your best bet. Additionally, since you have a Masters degree, why not extract one or two papers from it? The more prongs you meet, the better for your case.

Hello everyone,

I want to express my sincere gratitude to all of you for your timely contributions to this trend.
I am currently in search of employment in the US from Nigeria here as a caregiver. However, most employers are stating that they cannot sponsor me to relocate. I want to assure any potential employer that I can sponsor myself to relocate and join their team if they offer me employment.

I have a few questions regarding this process:
1. If I am offered employment with the condition of sponsoring myself, how much will it cost me?
2. What would be the role of my employer in this situation?
3. Will there be an interview for me as a caregiver even with employment?
4. Which visa route will I be taking for caregivers?
5. How much must be in my account as proof of funds?

I would greatly appreciate it if someone could provide a detailed explanation and give me a clearer picture of the entire process.

Thank you.

I rejoice with those who have received their LPR. Kudos to the US consulate for accommodating those scheduled for July in June.

I was wondering if anyone has tried EB1A or EB2 NIW while being a teacher in the US.

It is well. One doesn't know what to say about the release of IL for those whose PD has been current for more than 8 months yet no IL.
