I am not here to judge but jesus said narrow is the gate and only few found it. Prosperity and long life are not gate pass to heaven. All those things we want on earth will only end here.i will give you an example, all our lives we strive to achieve something, and at the end we did, then the soul taker called for the soul, all those things one laboured for would be left behind. Living a life that pleases God, which is holiness should be the priority of the church.

Many churches though they do mention it here and there, do not lay emphasis on it. They preach more more on breakthrough and prosperity.

Churches in the south are more of earthly glory and success. Churches in the north are more Kingdom focused and single-eyed.

Actually it has been the theme of my Pastors teachings for some time now and we are what you call a deeply "Pentecostal" church.
Rapture and being taken up are major subjects.
There are Pastors out there still teaching the coming of Christ.

Preaching The coming of Christ is not a complete gospel. Jesus is already living inside of us now if you are a genuine Christian. He is inside of you now .are you preaching for the coming of someone that is already living inside of you?.

We are not going to any heaven. The book of revelation made it very clear that God will create a new earth for us that are saved.
