It's your opinion, but you didn't provide facts to dismiss the assertions of those who said they felt it from birth. Do you think things can't happen to people from birth? Conjoined twins, brain tumors, stammering, imbecility, deafness, dumbness, blindness, etc all can come from birth, so why is that one different? I still maintain, some had it from birth. Some learnt it.
Some were even born haemaphrodites, both male and female organs. So you see people can be born with worst cases.

I don't think you understand the "born this way" concept. No one is born gay, straight or bi, kids are born indifferent to sexuality and sexuality develops as one grow which is inspired by a lot of factors including the environment, as you grow, you birth yourself, you know what you like and what you don't like. The problem is with the Abrahamaic religions that made the bigotry because it was accepted in a lot of cultures before the advent of the west

For example, let's use ur example of hermaphoditism: the person obviously knows he or she has ambiguous sex organs.
Now the person can chose to remain like that or do a sex change.

Either of those 2 options again has nothing with being gay.
This thing is a thing of the mind. It's a choice, weather forced or deliberate.

But nature has got nothing to do with it.

HIV, alcohol during pregnancy, smoking during pregnancy etc doesn't cause one to be gay( at least no evidence of such) .

There is always a sexual or romantic attraction. An of cos that is displayed by affection, sex, etc.

So homosexuality is an action.
How else do they know someone is gay? It's not by dressing or what he or she says.
One can dress like a gay and not be gay.

But the sexual act confirms it.


A murderer is not said to be 1 until he kills.
He may think about it or hold a gun and threaten someone. But unless he kills, he's not a murderer.

A smoker is not known to be one until he smokes.
