It seems Dangote want the government to totally ban the importation of fuel. I disagree with such a move... What happened in the cement industry should not happen in the oil industry |

Keep playing rubbish politics na the citizen go suffer am. When they have heard enough they will know what to do. Maybe the fire outbreak will make dangote not to reduce the fuel price |

Paraman:Exactly Dangote want full monopoly of the fuel sector but same dangote want to sell to Nigerians at international price or even higher just like he did with cement |

Dangote has always been a problem to Nigeria. He was the reason many companies shut down. Using connections with politicians to kill off rival companies. Ibeto cement was the reason cement was very affordable. |

ogododo:I believe the Vice President of Oil and Gas at Dangote Industries Limited, Devakumar Edwin. Devakumar Edwin obviously has his market Intel about the cargo ship movement of high-suphur fuel from Russia near the Republic of Togo. The Europeans already detected and banned high-sulphur fuel from their territories. The Federal agency (NMDPRA) dude is just trying to cover their tracks. It's HIGHLY irresponsible for anyone to allow high-suphur diesel fuel shipments of that kind into Nigeria when Dangote Petrochemical Refinery is already producing diesel and aviation fuel. |

If it's cheaper for the marketers to import, so be it. The downstream sector is deregulated and marketers should have options to either buy from local refiners or import, no one should be forced to buy from Dangote, if Dangote wants patronage it's prices should be reasonable |
