Does Toyota Camry 2001 XLE version have any disadvantage over LE and CE? Or is it all advantages and no disadvantage?? The XLE is 4 plug.

O you mean the blower motor?
If you can access it, spray WD40 on the bearing and it should stop if it's totally bad

It's not a hissing sound.. more like buhbuhbuhbuh sound. The sound is coming from inside the dashboard. A technician said dirty must have entered my compressure but I can't see how that was possible

Your AC fan blower in the dashboard is seriously dirty or need replacement.

I have es350 08 V6 gear for sale. The round case that supports Drive and Reverse in the gearbox got spoilt for the second time, so I just changed the full gear. My car has never been loosed before, in fact the gear master had to bring panel beater to help loosen the bolts. I have the old gear they removed for sale.

1. Regular Oil Changes

I saw some, but when scanned, it doesn't read well.

Even when the seller tried to convince me that it is working, scanning the vehicle after installation reveals that the sensor is not good.

I need a good one please. See the attached picture for the exact sensor I am looking for.

You didn't state if it's a 6 or 4 cylinder.

It was actually the gear oil. A mechanic later discovered that there was no filter in the bottom plate of the gear. So the gear brain box was accumulating dirt. He had to service the gear brain box, put a new filter and pour in a brand new gear oil. And alas, everything now works fine.

Hello guys, I need help. Let it not be that my mechanic wants to scam me. This morning I engage my car reverse gear for my boy to wash my car. After cleaning I decided to go out. After matching the gas pedal to floor level I realised it seized. Not this isn't the first time I'm warming my car above 6000 RPM.
So it seized all of a sudden and doesn't go above 2000 RPM. I decided to engage reverse gear. It didn't engage. My other gears are working. Only the reverse gear. My mechanic came and took it away only to call me that there's a damage to the gear box and to fix it will cost 580k. But if I'll buy another one it'll cost me 2M for Belgium and 1.2 for accidented car.
Please who has experienced this and what's the way forward. My Car is a 2011 Toyota Camry Sport.

NB: also about 5-6 days prior to that incident, my car has been showing (MAINTENANCE REQUIRED) on the dashboard. Could this be the cause? Please help me

'Warming' your car above 6000rpm 🙄, what's the red line on your car's tachometer? What's the reasoning behind reving your car to 6000rpm, warm it for what? What's even the use of 'warming' any relatively modern vehicle (with OBD2 port)?
May God help you with this trouble you have just landed yourself in, you haven't driven for any considerable amount of time to get your engine temperature up, and to be certain fluid is heated up enough to get everywhere lubed up but you confidently proceeded to decide your car isn't 'warm' enough until you rev it to 6000rpm while engine is cold, what happened to leaving it to idle for a few minutes if you must 'warm' your car?

Your mechanic scanned the car and found nothing? It sure wasn't a high end scanner, if car doesn't rev behind 2000rpm like you said then there should be something logged by the ECU, the ECU knows it all as far as the engine is concerned, a better scanner will even get to your TCM.
Now that your mechanic has done more than scanning and already messing with your parts, did you give the authorisation? What is the aim here? What is he looking into and hoping to achieve by taking those apart? What is his own confirmed diagnosis?
Always stay with the mechanic when work is being done on your car, and make sure you ask questions even if he goes close to taking out your seat cover.
I only went to change my serpentine belt the other day and after several warnings about making sure my abs sensor is left as is, I turned my wheels today and saw that the sensor has been dangling, on my right wheel, the idiot didn't screw it back, you can imagine that level of unprofessionalism.
They're happy to milk you dry, but almost never ready to take caution and be extra careful while taking components apart, in my opinion, never engage this mechanic again in your lifetime.

Haaa they have dismantle ur transmission box already sir.it a 50/50 chance. It either it work if they did a good job or you end up buying another transmission box.

With the faults you described, there is no way a scan will not bring up some error codes.

Even the smallest obd2 Bluetooth scanner should be able to scan that car.

Now your mechanic has scattered the gearbox already.

Look at even the dirty environment where he's working on the gear.

Sorry to sound this way but the chances of that gear ever working again is very low. You will end up buying a new gear box.

I was in a hurry to go to work so I just asked him to pick the car. Only for me to receive that picture the next day. I am so devastated
