Even 14 hours of electricity is common, it will make a difference in today economy where good paying jobs are scare. Oil is no longer affordable so many businesses are failing because they can not afford to put on diesel for generators . Let us think about it and people are wondering why Nigeria is the way it is now. high cost of fuel is killing businesses both international and local one here in Nigeria. Suppose Tesla wants to build assembly plant in West Africa, do you think Nigeria will their first choice? no , they will go to Ghana or Togo or somewhere apart from Nigeria
No one saw the impact of the removal of fuel subsidy coming, Tinubu was harsh and rash in making such decision, He should have consulted the businesses leaders and entrepreneurs before rushing into such decision. Oil affects everything, food price is up and businesses are closing. Thank God for music business where some youth have figure out their way to make money, thank God for Youtube, Instagram and IT that is providing income to many. and Unfortunately Yahoo and some vices have been some peeps main source of income

24 hours electricity will not make any difference if it is costly.

It will be a way cheaper than buying expensive diesel and maintaining that expensive generators. Diesel generators are not cheap and expensive to maintain. and I do not think Nigeria will have 24 hours of electricity nationwide, but I do believe at least 14 or 16 hours a day will make an impact.

A comprehensive tax force can force those companies to pay up taxes

If it is cheaper yet cost of production is still high, what is the need? Electricity is to drive down the cost of production. If this objective is defeated, then it is of no use.
