Stop Blaming Wike, El-rufai Did Worse Things - Nnamdi Kanu by TonyRazor(m): 1:54pm On May 12, 2020 |
TonyRazor Stop blaming Wike, El-Rufai did worse things - Nnamdi Kanu The Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, has defended the action of the Rivers State Governor, Nyeson Wike who demolished two hotels in the state for violation of lockdown directives. He described Wike's action as proper to protect the lives of the people against coronavirus infection. Kanu in a statement on Tuesday chided Wike’s critics , contending that the action was carried in overriding public interest. Wondering why Wike was being vilified over the development, Kanu alleged that Governor Nasir el-Rufai of Kaduna State, when he was the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, did worse things than Wike's. The statement entitled :” Wike hotel demolition and all the furious Sanctimonious humbug” maintained that Wike’s critics were quiet when scores of structures were demolished at the FCT with flimsy excuses. Stating that most of the owners of such buildings were yet to recover from the shock, Kanu said it was wrong to be quick in condemning the Rivers State governor's action without considering the motive behind it. He insisted that el-Rufai and the even current FCT Minister, Bello Mohammed did more damage to structures belonging to Nigerians, "majority of which were owned by Biafrans at the FCT". . The statement read in part, "When El-Rufai was busy terrorising and pauperising thousands of Biafran businessmen by demolishing their hotels, bars, restaurants and homes in Abuja, some of the raging hypocritical voices of righteous indignation we are hearing today were never heard. “They never uttered a word, nor made a sound because they were and are still afraid of their masters who are still demolishing legitimate Igbo businesses in Abuja. “In fact, El-Rufai went on to become the governor of Kaduna State .Today he is being touted as the next President of Nigeria by the same people condemning Governo Nyesom Wike. “Current FCT Minister Bello Mohammed has simply carried on from where his predecessor El-Rufai stopped and has been busy demolishing far more expensive buildings in Abuja belonging to Biafrans than that destroyed by Wike. 1 Like

TonyRazor: I don't understand this man o...which one is stop blaming wike....the actions taken by wike were just pure wickedness and unnecessary....what's the point trying to shield him or making comparisons...who do bad don do bad ...any criticism to wike currently is worth it 1 Like 1 Share |

So because El Rufai did worse, we should clap for Wike for disregarding the rule of law. “There is no provision for even the President to take the Law into his hands and then begin to mete out punishments to citizens without recourse to the constitution." “The right to property, fair hearing and liberty are constitutional rights. No Governor has the power to dismiss these rights under the pretext of enforcing the COVID-19 regulations." “No Constitution allows a Governor to become the maker of a Law, accuser, witness, enforcer of the Law, the prosecutor and the Judge at the same time. It is primitive,” By Femi Falana SAN https://dailypost.ng/2020/05/11/rivers-wike-a-colossal-embarrassment-to-body-of-benchers-falana/amp/?__twitter_impression=true |

Fake news. He didn't defend wike he only exposed the hypocrisy of those condemned the demolition while keeping silent when worse is done elsewhere against Igbo. 1 Like |
