The father should have allowed the Police to detain him for like a month or even more until he is willing to change but he allowed his undeserved empathy to control him.

Finally the son landed in the same police station that the father prevented him from getting to. Unfortunately this time the boy killed his father.

If your son threatens to kill you and makes a definite effort to carry out his threat, it will become very foolish of you to wait until he carries out his act. He showed himself to you as your number 1 enemy. Who lost out in the end? It was not just the man, but the entire family who lost their father and now the son to spend the rest of his life in prison.

Probably as a priest, the man tried to practice what he preached. He probably always preached peace and unity in the home. The boy however was way beyond his control and he needed to call security in him. If he did that, the man probably would be alive and free. A strong willed father would without delay get the police to detain him.

These are very trying times with lots of demons roaming freely on earth taking hold of people and causing devastations all over the place

So his prayers could reset his son's medulla oblongata,then he should have restricted him to a mental home.

It's interesting people automatically think the father is innocent. I'm not saying violence is the solution, but why not consider all the potential facts.
