Justice Inyang Ekwo of the Federal High Court in Abuja has declared invalid the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) primary election that produced Asue Ighodalo as its governorship candidate.

The primary election conducted on February 22, 2024, was voided on the ground that 378 delegates who were supposed to vote at the primary election were unlawfully excluded by PDP.

Justice Ekwo nullified the primary election while delivering judgment in a suit instituted by the aggrieved delegates.

The suit was instituted by one Kelvin Mohammed in a representative capacity.

Justice Ekwo held that both the provisions of the Electoral Act 2022 and the PDP Guidelines were violated in the conduct of the primary election at the Samuel Ogbemudia stadium in Benin.

Why do you think the judgement will not stand? Those that went to court are PDP members and statutory delegates. If they were not allowed to vote during the primary election, they have every right to go to court and seek redress.

Appeal Court of justice will set aside justice inyang federal high court of justice judgement here. In a month time, the judgement will be read on that case. APC is just using court judgement to distract pdp and its governorship candidate, Asue Ighodalo. Politicians and their style of politics is not different at all. Another competent court of justice will set aside the kangaroo judgement here.

What is the consequences of a judge delivering bad judgement they would would be reversed?

Nothing that's why it won't stop

There should be a law that if 10 of your judgement is reversed in 10 years u would be removed as a judge


We are all here when supreme Court stated that party internal affairs can't be influenced by the court

Justice Nyang Ekwo that is working for APC. Go and check his precedents delivering judgements that only favor APC.

I'm very convinced the revolution David Hundeyin is talking about will start from these judges head. Bandits already kidnapping some of them, it will go round.
