He can't be released now. According to the pronouncement of the judge says; the 12yrs started from the day of pronouncement. Meaning starting from today and he will served only 6yr, day and nite counts.

To me I think
murder case is different from Manslaughter case the one that we read here that happen in osun state is murder that is why Judge in osun sentenced them to dead this one is manslaughter and the Judge send him to jail and those useless people when they are in uniform some of them always over do things maybe they think government will over pay them when they do that FRSC , POLICE LASTMA and the rest of them do see service they do not forgive, after 12 yrs the man will be free the LASTMA dead for his family government may not remember his family again the next day some of them will be in this forum please 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏 always use your brain when doing government work after 35 yrs or when you are 60yrs old ,you will leave the office
