You never learn. No law can can specifically exclude Igbos without excluding Ekiti or Osun people.

Think!!!
Nothing concern Igbo in the topic, must you insert yourselves in every matter?

The level of literacy is extremely high in Yoruba land. A lot of old people can read the Yoruba language.

That poster is a well known Ndigbo Obidient (with different Yoruba themed monickers) that he uses to abuse and insult Ndi Yoruba.

Their self hate at not being an Ndi Yoruba always without fail permeats through each post they make.

The pain of Peter Obi losing elections to President Tinubu would never heal for that poster.

We should begin to hold our leaders accountable to carry out meaningful and pro-masses initiatives. How does this help to alleviate the present condition of an average Lagos state indigene (not even non-indigene) who presently can not provide basic needs for his children?
Let me summarise governance for you.

It is made up of different ministries, each carrying out their work to the best of their knowledge and ability based on the budgets they have been given.

I believe IT in Lagos state government is under the Information Ministry, I might be wrong on that, they are spending monies allocated on what they have agreed would be beneficial to the state after a series of meetings.

That the average Lagos state indigene is suffering does not mean all government monies should be redirected into just one pot to alleviate that suffering.

Other relevant ministries are, I am sure, using their allocated budget to ensure they are doing their best to reduce poverty levels in the state.

Tinubu's Lagos state government brought in IT systems that ensured all the disparate systems being used by different Lagos state government agencies could talk to each other and were eventually homogenised (especially the ones to do with Salaries and Tax). They didn't do this when there was no suffering in Lagos.

President Tinubu defeating Peter Obi is the cause of all their problems in this world.

After the Yorubas, Igbos are by far fhe second largest ethnic group in Lagos.

Yorubas wanna control everything in Lagos even though their contribution is less than 40%
I am not convinced about this statistic, not that it matters.

Even if Ndigbo eventually surpasses Ndi Yoruba in Lagos, it wouldn't stop being a Yoruba enclave.

I still don't get why Ndi Anioma, Ndi Esan, Ndi Bayelsa or Ndi Calabar of which there are many living in Lagos don't have this "must rub shoulders with Ndi Yoruba while showing our hated for them" mentality that some others have in Lagos.

It's their land, enjoy their welcoming arms. Is that so difficult?
Re: LASG To Translate Lagos State Laws Into Yoruba Using AI by DMerciful(m): 7:37am On Jul 11, 2024
I'm from Anioma and I'm Igbo.

STFU, Lagos colony does not belong to the Yorubas. So how will an Igbo man take permission to go to anywhere in Nigeria. Did we asked to be brought back to Nigeria in 1970?
Per the bolded, this stick you thing you are using to flog anyone is worn out, there is now a clear path to secession, why not speak to your Abuja representatives and get them to start the process?

You might be surprised at how little opposition there is to the bill, you will even be more surprised as to how little interest your representative Ms in Abuja have for such a proposal.

Once you hear Lagos and Yoruba as words being used in tandem, you must start being angry, dem take Yoruba and Lagos do you ni, ah ah.

Akinpresident:
Total bullshit.

AI can never translate it right.

Why not give the project to Yoruba teachers/translators who'll do a far better job?

I bet AI doesn't have the complete translations of all English words in Yoruba and there'll be lot's of mixups or mistakes for words it doesn't know.
AI will start the process doing the heavy lifting and humans will review it to fine tune it. That is what happens with this generation of AI all over the world for everything it is used for.

No one is interested in such, Ndigbo will always be "welcome" in Yorubaland with open arms as will Ndi other non-Yoruba tribes.

Stop twisting the discussion to be a victim as usual.

To summarize, they are ibos.
Not all Ndigbos are Obidients, a lot of Ndigbos I interact with daily are ashamed of Obidients and their "empty barrels make the most noise" persona.

My childhood Ndi Yoruba friend is travelling from Lagos to an area near Agbor this very day with her Ndigbo best friend to take part in a wedding of the latters child. Peter Obi losing didn't affect their friendship.

Stories like that abound all over Yorubaland, not just Lagos. A few people on here will refuse to get over Peter Obi coming third and won't let us rest. Why?

We're not welcome in Lagos, we have the right to be in any territory in Nigeria including Lagos.

Let me tell you what we want. We want one Nigeria or separation,
there's no middle ground like regionalism!
If you want Seperation so bad, go and speak to your representatives in Abuja, is that so difficult?

Tell me your ancestral village and I will identify all your Abuja people for you and give you their phone numbers and email to make your job easy.

Just don't be surprised when other Ndigbo don't share your strange appetite for separation, especially those settled in ala Yoruba which I am sorry to inform you, includes Ala Lagos.

So how come we speak English in Nigeria, not many English people here. Or even in South Africa, they speak Afrikaans even though there are more black people than white Dutch.

It is more than just numbers.

You can be "welcome" in a place where you don't have to be.

An Ibusa man can be welcome in Asaba, but he cannot be said to be welcome in Ibusa.

You and I both know that.

No one is chasing you, stop running.

No one is looking at things from a "fought us to come back" perspective apart from you and a few others still carrying the bitterness of Peter Obi's defeat over a year on.

Ndigbo, as with all other tribes, are welcome all over Nigeria and not treated any differently.

It is you separatists that should push for it, like I said you might, nay will, end up dissapointed when you see that only a few Obidients have any appetite for it.

You've just confirmed that you are a foolish person. Who told you I voted for BAT during the last presidential elections? I never voted for BAT.
My initial response to you was because of you cursing a whole tribe because of your senile way of seeing things. Read and comprehend Mr/Miss. Stop sounding like a f**l all because of being politically correct.

You all will definitely find peace.
